One more year, then looking looking forward to retiring to that little place in the country and exploring places that I have never been. I would like to try golf someday...maybe river rafting... and am toying with the idea of getting a trike when I retire. Family is important to me. Date someone special from Fairfield, United States. Hoping to attract a person that has a passion for enjoying life and can accept me for who I am both inside and out. I especially enjoy travel and the outdoors. I am very grateful for my close and caring friends. Although I have not had the fortune of marraige, I have had several wonderful relationships that I will always cherish. I love children but again it was just not in my stars. I own a small house in Montgomery, Alabama which I do not get to be in very often due to work but full retirment is just around the corner. I am an advocate of complementary/preventive health care, but I am far from a purist (I still enjoy a good prime rib); most definitely believe that hugs and laughs keep the immune system strong. As for my body type, I am average with a few extra pounds, so I thought it was important to be honest. As for my personal attributes, honesty and integrity are high on my list, as well as compassion for others. Because of Uncle Sam, I have had the opportunity to live and visit several different locations including Lake Tahoe, Guam, Arizona, Alabama, Nashville, England, Homestead Florida, Italy, San Marcos CA, Humboldt County to name a few. There is still lots more to do on my bucket list and would love to have someone close to experience them with and patiently guide me through some of the challenging outdoor activiites like cross country skiing.
