. I have to say hello! Thanks for looking. My profile probably isn't that much different from everyone elses, and why is that? Number one - I hate to type [maybe it's time to buy that voice recognition program]! Number two - in the end I think technology has changed how we live but not who we are and our human tendencies. I think most people probably look at the pictures first, then based on their first impression read the profile and go from there. In the end I think it is really important to meet face to face before you make a decision. Pictures and profiles cannot completely capture the essence of who a person is. What you see on the cover is not the whole story. That being said -Hello again if you are still reading this.
My friends would describe me as quiet at first, but then talkative once we knew each other. I am a person with multiple interests. I enjoy the outdoors, especially going on hikes, and enjoy going camping. I prefer campgrounds with bathrooms and hot showers, but have also gone backpacking which included the necessary small shovel. Wine tasting is a favorite activity, along with eating out at restaurants ranging from those considered fine dining to the 'hole in the wall' type. Going to shows, concerts, fairs festivals, and museums are all activities I find enjoyable. I am also still a fan of amusement parks, especially roller coasters. I really like to travel. Up to this point my travel destinations have been in the US with excursions over the border to Mexico and Canada, and a cruise to the Bahamas. This has mainly been due to the fact that my son of course was with me on all these vacations. Kids tend not to be into history and archeology, which are big interests of mine, so I didn't see the point of taking him to another country like Italy, Greece, or Egypt where I would be spending all my time going to see everything he would have no interest in. I will be planning trips in the next few years to these destinations. Currently I have been thinking about a trip to Australia New Zealand since I am a certified diver. I am an accomplished person with a good career that I really enjoy. Laughing everyday is key. My sense of humor my seem a little off to some people, but it is what it is. Continued learning is something I also find important. I think that keeping active both mentally and physically is very important. I am looking to get out and travel more, try new things. Looking for someone with some similar interests who will also enjoy multiple activities and traveling.
. I live for the weekends. Love taking day rides (motorcycle or vehicle) or overnighters to the coast or wherever the road leads.
