I enjoy the time I get to spend with them, I also need some time for me. I feel that as a parent there has to be time made for us as well, otherwise I think we would go a little crazy.
A little about me, I grew up in southern California and have lived here in Alabama now for 12 years. I have learned that I do enjoy outdoor activities more and more all the time. My boys were in boyscouts and we have been white water rafting, rappeling, wild caving kayaking, hiking and many other activities. The funny thing about this is, I think I enjoyed some of these things more than my boys did.
I love finding new places to go and new things to try. I feel that we shoud try new things and embrace the new experiences we are given. They may not all be good but they are experiences and we can choose not to do some of them more than one time.
