I enjoy the excitement of new experiences and I still know how to have fun. I am an intelligent, responsible, attractive lady whom many assume just a sweet, affectionate lady from Italy or Spain. Though I am from South FL originally, I do not speak fluent Spanish, and I am unsure if I have any Italian roots at all, though I feel as though I may have been in a former life. ;)
The kind of guy that I tend to enjoy spending time with the most is one who is assertive, intelligent, and comfortable in whom he is. Though I am a great mother to my kids, and am a very care taking lady and love to do domestic things for family and friends, I will not make you pick up your socks or eat the vegetables I make. Just so we are clear on that. Oh, and by the way, a sense of humor is compulsory I think. I mean … what is life if you can’t have fun?
I tend to stay fairly busy with work and two wonderful teen age daughters that I love dearly, though I am looking for that special someone to share my life with. I love doing lots of things from hiking or attending sports events to taking in a show or new art exhibit. Another love I have is traveling and exploring new places. I have traveled abroad some in the past and especially love Italy and England. I would love to return and explore more of the EU as well as discover new places I have only seen on TV or read about. Lately, I frequent Atlanta, Huntsville and other places here in Alabama and Florida as time allows.
Music is also one of my daily escapes. I love many styles of music and am a car and kitchen singer. So what do you sing? Or play? Or enjoy listening to? My favorite song lately is “Unwritten” by Natasha Bedingfield. Though not a brand new song, it fits. Take a listen and see what you think.
Being a Florida native, I absolutely love the ocean; therefore, I like to have some beach time each year. I enjoy walking along the shoreline, boogie boarding (though I am not great at it) and just being lazy and listening to the waves. Also the beach has its own beauty at night with the reflection of the moon and the gentle lapping of the waves. It can be quite relaxing as one sits and enjoys the atmosphere, especially with that special someone.
One final note is that I am new to this online services thing. Several of my friends have told me how well Match has worked for them, so I have decided to give it a try. So join me if you like, as I wade into the abyss. I can be reached by phone, IM or email. That said; their dad has them 3 weekends a month, so as a result most of my weekends are free.
Meet a soulmate from Vestavia Hills, United States. I have been divorced for 4 years and decided at that time to go back to school. I have just finished my degree in nursing and excited about new beginnings. With all the changes going on in my life I had put this part on hold but now I feel like it is time to move forward.
I have 3 children, but only 2 are still at home. My son is in high school and has big plans for his future with great grades and a talented athletic ability I am sure he will be able to reach his goals... My youngest daughter has just started middle school and trying to find her way but has a kind heart and has a natural entrepreneur ability which I love! She will look for creative ways to make money like washing cars or dog walking. My oldest is 21 and has decided to venture out on her own and finding her own way... She is a sweet nature loving laid back girl who sees a future without any walls.
Well now a little about me... I am a Christian and strive to live my life everyday growing closer and more like Christ. I know without Him I am doomed for all eternity. If this sounds foreign then we can stop here because this is the priority I can not compromise on. Other than that we can just play it by ear...
I love to work outside and enjoy my time in the woods or at the farm. I don't have my own farm yet but have plans to maybe have a small hobby farm one day. We have a horse that I love and am working with him to be able to take to horse shows. My youngest has found her passion and wants to ride everyday!
