Walking in SF in Meetup groups has been a new activity for me on weekends, and I really enjoy it, to the point where I am considering relocating to a more urban area in a few years. I love to travel and want to go back to Europe for a stay in smaller cities, must see Ireland/Wales. The Far East a big draw. Day hikes in Pt Reyes, Big Basin, Briones, Yosemite are great, and I hit the Iron Horse trail locally. I'm not generally partial to overnight camping, outdoor showers or bugs, but not a complainer, unless there are a lot of bugs.
I do part time IT consulting and have no plans to completely retire. Volunteering and mentoring, educational opportunities for young people and vets are high priorities for me. I need my time to do my own thing and expect you will, too; for instance, I'm not much for golf or skiing but I think it's fine if you enjoy it. I'd like to live in the greater San Francisco area much of the time, but I'm open to sharing geographies in a long-term relationship. What are you open to?
