Look to this day, for it and it alone is life. In its brief course, there our roads we take that are sometimes bright, long, and dusty; others can be dark and ominous. All the darkness of this world cannot put out the light of a single candle within each of us. I’m searching for a light from that single candle to come into my life and add warmth deep inside my heart. The light that lies within the woman I seek, would exhibit an illumination to serve as a beacon to help show me the way back to her heart, and be evidence for how brightly hers radiates. Once the candle of my heart is lit from hers, the dark shadows will descend and then provide warmth to my life that I seek. I display my own beacon of my candle willingly, burning to light up the darkness around me, willingly to share for the woman whom will guard my heart as if it were her own.
There are times when my heart’s desire looks as if it has a dim chance of finding that beam of light. During such moments, I must remember that the possibility lies in maintaining the right perspective while unforeseen opportunities remain in motion.
My serenity is not one that I feel is inadequate about. My aspiration is that we are powerful beyond measure together. It is the glow of our candlelight, which formulates a shine so brilliant that even our presence automatically attracts others to see the internal light between us. A flame of a candles fire is one of those things for which there is no accounting as to what may come of it. Its spread is not to be measured even by the warmth is emits, but when it gets a firm hold, and the wind drives it on, it can only produce as long as it is maintained.
Here before you, is a candle which has never given the suitable light, and never will as it now is. Hear my justification for not giving perpetual luminosity! It is so unfortunate that it cannot find a proper vessel in which to stand upright and fulfill the purpose for which I was made. Let us try to accommodate it. Here is a fine church candlestick, and we set our candle in the socket. Does it shine? Yes. Shall we try a lower place? It does not shine any brighter. We will put this candle in the most enviable position—in this real silver candlestick, of the most elaborate workmanship. It does not shine one whit the more. Neither high nor low places will make a man what he is not. We are all meant to shine, and it is just not in some of you to see or feel the radiance that is within me; even though the intimate words that I pour out.
I am only looking for that one, that special woman that can contribute to the flickering flame and make it dance within my heart; even in empty moments of life. Together, we can both build a flame between us that will build in strength; strength that will fill our emptiness and together, we willingly tilt our candles to become a single entity. The darkness can be a lot easier to deal with if you have a light to share.
I am true to my word, and not here to play games, nor here for a fling or one-niter. I’m a sensualist. I live comfortably. I eat. I drink. I laugh. I touch. I feel. I’m a great kisser. I smell nice. I’ll make you want to be late for work, again and again. I can fix anything around the house. I’m calm and collected I am easy and comfortable to be around.
