Date someone special from Pleasant Grove, United States. Generally, I don't like talking about myself, but hey - if I don't do it, who will? I would describe myself as being "old school" in how I relate to women. I still believe in opening doors, pulling out chairs, (providing the lady wants to sit) and giving compliments without being prompted. I am also not above presenting that special lady with unexpected tokens of affection and appreciation. The person I am looking for has a sense of humor and can hopefully appreciate my sometimes dry wit. She is warm and affectionate. She is as comfortable in a pair of blue jeans as she is in a black formal dress.
So much of our lives is planned - structured - organized, etc., but still, I am a fan of spontaneity. Picking up a friend on a Saturday morning, stopping at a deli, buying a few savory items and finding a secluded spot...ducking into a shop that sells magic tricks, or antiques (a place that you've been passing every day for years), knowing that you have no intention of buying anything, (maybe?) Sometimes it's good to stray off the beaten path. Trying new ventures can be fun. If you don't like it, at least you have piqued your curiousity. No harm, no foul.
Basically, I'm looking for someone who simply wants to enjoy life, as a couple...sharing different cultures/backgrounds, friends, relatives, successes/failures, etc. That's what it's all about. The most mundane acts can become quite memorable when you're with someone you like.
