Things I prefer: quality over quantity, simplicity over complicated, a long term relationship. My friends describe me as - funny, dependable, trustworthy, intelligent and smart (OK, sometimes a smart-azz), helpful, competitive (but not overly so), responsible, mellow (most of the time), easy to talk to. Of course that is very easy to say, the proof can only reveal itself with time. And, that may all sound almost perfect, but just to be clear I am just like anyone else - perfectly human.
Music; mostly Rock (50s – 80s), some Blues, Jazz and others, no rap. I enjoy experiencing different styles of food. I love Japanese food (or as the Japanese call it . . . food), Thai, Indian . . . of course a pizza or BBQ are really good too. I will try almost any type once.

What am I looking for in a relationship? Probably what most people want, the short answer, Love, long term not just a date . . a companion, friend, eventually lover.
Type of person am I hoping to attract? One woman who enjoys at least a few of the things I do and can share her likes, loves, feelings, and needs. It is always nice to have someone special to do and share experiences with. I think it is fun to be able to learn new things from each other too. I am looking for someone who believes in, and practices being equals. She is kind, playful, warm, smart, Just as I was writing this verse came on the radio.
