Date men and women from Colorado, United States. I am a 41yr old male who is tired of all the silly head games. I seem to get along with most people. I love to camp, fish, play sports and do most outdoor activities. I recently started playing hockey again. I am a defense man on my team and loving it. I am pretty bored with the whole bar scene, but I still love to country dance.....(in search of new partner). My latest form of escape is to take a ride on my new motorcycle. Some of my friends call me a cowboy, even though I was raised in the city, but I think that's o.k. because I am pretty sure I would prefer to live in the country, especially with the right woman.Looking for a woman who is as happy just being with her man at home as she is with a nite out on the town. She should be willing to try new things. A woman who is somewhat athletic would be a plus(doesn't have to be a super jock). Must like animals, and be able to hang out with the guys on occasion. Should be willing to at least try country dancing. Oh yes last but not least please..... Prima donnas need not apply, make up and camping just doesn't go well together, but a nice dress and candle light dinner do.

I play some sports when I can, love to hike, ski, snow shoe, climb the peaks, etc. I play basketball occasionally and used to play football when I was younger. My Social circle is fairly small - my friends are few, but lifelong - most I have I've known for more than 20 years. I work out a bit when I can, need to always do more but Doc says I am in good shape ;)
I also love Italian food, good movies that provoke thought, and taking my dogs for walks. I work a lot, so spare time sometimes seem fleeting, but when I get my chances I love to go into the mountains to de-stress. I would love to meet someone that enjoyed those adventures as much as I do. My continental adventures tend to stay more car-bound, as I have developed a fear of flying, oh no! (Cruise ships to Hawaii are still ok, right? ;) ) I realize this probably just got me eliminated from half my matches...maybe you could weave a spell to cure me of this woe?
I've seen some lists of criteria for women and their searches, which is a bit depressing as I never thought this was a job interview. My disclaimers for world of women 1) Anyone who tells you they are baggage free or have no skeletons - is lying to you from the start. Don't talk to them. Everyone has baggage. 2) I am college educated but unfortunately hold no degree of any kind; if my current level of college education is that high on your wish list - keep moving. 3) That leads to this one - I make a good salary, own my own home. But like the rest of 330 Million voting Americans, I am a layoff/outsource away from losing everything, and yes I am worried, but no, I am not looking for you to rescue me. 4) I don't own a cell phone, and don't plan on owning one anytime soon. I work in technology and would rather have nothing to do with it at the end of the day. If you feel the need that I have one for dating you - keep moving.
But what I can do - is take you places, show things to you, explore with you, laugh and cry with you, joke with you, cook with you, rescue you (in more ways than one), debate with you, be a friend to you, love you, defend you, respect you, and honor you.
I am looking for a woman who is beautiful inside and out, confident, strong. I am more attracted to a strong willed woman, someone who will always stand her ground, stand firm on her positions. Physcal appearances are important to me, but I value what a woman's beliefs and heart are made of - are you as strong and beautiful on the inside as you are outside? A woman say, who knows the true value of "Kill Bill?" ;) I would like to find someone with that adventerous spirit that would like to join me on those hikes to find new places we haven't seen yet. Someone to attend dinners with, or an occasional small party amongst close friends.
