Meet a girl from California, United States. Recently one of my best friend asked me what were the top five traits that I'm looking for in a man. I didn't know how to respond at that time because although the question may have seemed simplistic it made me think about it more intently. This is what i came up with:
1. Character- I want him to know what he wants. I want him to be genuine. He needs to be authentic and real; one who doesn't play games. I want him to say what he means and act on what he says. I don't want him to say things that he thinks I want to hear. I want him to be comfortable under his own skin and be confident in a humble way. He shouldn't feel a need to show off and he should feel comfortable for who he is and what he has. He needs to be kind to others and not just to people he wants to be associated with. I want him to be open-minded and worldly.
2. Adores me- I want this person to adore me for who I am and who I strive to become. I want him to chase me and see me as the woman of his dreams even with my flaws. I know I'm not perfect but I know that I try to be a better person each and every day with everyone especially my family and friends.
3. Kindhearted/ Generous- I want someone who isn't frugal with his emotions and time. This person needs to be as generous with me and my family as he is with his own because I'd naturally do the same.
4. Same Expectations- I like to live life moment to moment and this means that in the course of getting to know this person I want to go with the flow. If something more serious evolves than I'd be open to the idea but I'd like to take my time to find a compatible companion rather than rushing into something and getting stuck.
5. Attraction- We need to naturally make each other laugh. I need to be attracted to him physically, intellectually, and spiritually. By the way, the way a man carries himself in a fitted suit is so sexy ;)
Of course, this is just a list. I'm not going to live by it but it is a starting point from where I like to start.

About me huh? im too busy to be clever so ill just be honest - I pretty much gave up any hope of ever taking myself seriously after I made this, i work for a pretty cool company in the Mission District (SF), im addicted to my iPhone my 11 year old brother is my best friend ... other things i love: warm weather, great friends, basketball (go Lakers) or any competitive sport really, music that makes me purse my lips nod my head a little, when i laugh so hard my face hurts... i take quick showers, clearly plethora are my fav. words, if i could go to a culinary academy id think that was so cool - don't get excited though because my cooking? no comment. i thought i grew out of my tomboy stage but ive recently accepted the fact that i really just am a tomboy & play to win. ive also recently accepted that im way more introverted than might initially come across. i try to be as open minded as possible & im looking for someone with similar interests/energy who isn't afraid to be themselves, with an amazing smile stellar grammar.

I am very easy going. I am always up to try new things and have fun! After all you only live once, so you have to make the best of it. I am a very positive person and I like to surround myself by positive people. I love my friends and family. They always come first. Trust and honesty are very big for me.
I like the outdoors, I am always up for a hike or bike ride. I like going out with friends whether to a bar or lounge, or just hanging out.

I was born and raised in Moscow, Russia and have moved to the States when I was fifteen years old. Having grown up in a large city, the suburbs of California were a big change for me. But i have to say, i love the ocean and the mountains!!! Back home, I have gotten used to spending most of the year in the city among the busy streets, open markets, and public transport and the summers out in the country near the river and the forest with a garden plot to grow fruits and vegetables. And I have to say, I loved it all! The city life with all its people, restaurants, shopping, and movies but also the great outdoors with all the fresh air, nature, piece and quiet and beauty. Both are important and have shaped me who I am today and both are something I would like to somehow incorporate into my life and share with a significant other.
But, amongst all that, of course, there is always a moment for occasional laziness to just sit back and relax and enjoy the moment. And who knows, plan your next adventure. ;)
Also, I am a glass half full kind of person and optimism is something that I value in myself and looking in a significant other. Positive energy and belief that you can achieve what you want (given the effort put in) is a key, I think, to success and happiness in life!

Meet a girl from United States. I grew up in Dallas and moved to San Diego for eight years after high school. I???ve been living the dream of a girl in her 20???s for the past several years... moved back to Dallas about a year ago which I found to be a mistake and already made my way back in Southern California! I appreciate a guy who treats me like a lady, has views on all aspects of life and values all his close relationships with the people in his life.
About me... I've lives in OC for about a year and am new to Dana Point. I am loving Orange County and have met some great people, but I have a whole lot of exploring left to do. I have a lot of energy and always surround myself with fun and outgoing people. I am always out and about on the weekends and like to (try to) keep things pretty mellow on the week nights... but I am the first to admit that I tend to give in and go to happy hour for a couple of glasses of wine come Thursday. On weekends, I love going out to fun dinners, going to bars, going to the beach or laying low and relaxing... and I am always down for and encouraging road trips. I thoroughly enjoy good company and people who don???t take themselves too seriously. I???ve done a lot of pretty cool things in my life and I???m looking forward to doing a lot more. I hiked Half Dome in Yosemite a couple of years ago and have gone skydiving twice, just to name a few. I love skiing, hiking, traveling and being a beach bum. I am drawn to the beach and mountains equally. I have family in San Diego, Dallas and Rayong, Thailand and love going to to visit them. I am insanely close to my family, which consists of two brothers, two sisters, a dad, a mom and a stepdad. I haven???t had the chance to explore much of Europe which is something very high on my to do list ??? I???m looking for someone to do that with me. I love to laugh a lot and like to think I make people laugh pretty easily, too.
I prefer cooking over baking, dive bars over clubs, skiing over snowboarding, sarcasm/humor over seriousness, beer over liquor, heels over flats, cooking dinner at home over going out (most of the time), early mornings and early nights during the week, early(ish) mornings and late nights during the weekends, being together over being apart, dogs over cats, taking risks over playing safe, shorts over pants, bathingsuits over works suits, Christmas over any other holiday (4th of July battles with it every year), pasta, sushi and Mexican food over any other... just to name a few.

I think my friends would say that I'm always laughing and happy in almost every situation. I think people are thrown off by that at first. I have a sarcastic sense of humor. I don't play games, there's no point. No one gets anywhere that way. I'm a very positive but I'm also a realist haha I'm a quiet/calm person. I usually go with the flow... but that doesn't mean I don't know how to have fun... Most of my family would say I'm an old soul.
I like just about every type of music. Most of it I wouldn't listen to on a daily basis but I still enjoy it. I was born in LA but lived back east when I was younger. Basically grew up in Bakersfield though. Oh yeah and I'm usually not the one to make the first move.
This is really hard to try and talk about myself! It seems like a lot of people lie about their age on here. I can tell you're not as young as you say you are! Haha just tell the truth!

Meet a soulmate from United States. I am in love with Los Angeles. When it is 80 degrees with not a cloud in the sky, I wonder why anyone would live anywhere else? But foreign getaways are a must. I have driven a dog sled in Finland, dived with sea turtles in Malaysia, climbed the Great Wall of China, meditated at the buddhist temple next to Mount Everest, and walked through the old city in Jerusalem . On a everyday basis, I am always looking for new things to learn about. Google is my friend. OK, I'll admit it - I have moments of extreme nerdiness. (Side note: It amuses me that spell check wants to correct the word "nerdiness" with either "neediness" "nerviness" "hardiness" "tardiness" or "wordiness.") All in all, I'm looking for someone with the same desire for learning. I am not seeking Mr.Right - there are too many other things in this world to search for, like the perfect gin martini or the meaning to life. But if I happen to stumble upon him somewhere along the way, I will gladly share a story or two over a cup of coffee.
