Meet someone special from Rogers, United States. I am ready to find that special person. I love to laugh, and I want someone who will make me do that all the time! I have been told many times that I look much younger than I am, and I would have to agree. 40 does not sit well with me, and I honestly believe it's just a number! We all have our preferences, and I prefer dating guys my age or a little younger. First and foremost, I am looking for a Christian man (not a fanatic) who will put God first in his life and in his relationships. That in itself pretty much narrows my search, because I haven't found too many of those. It's difficult to find that, along with someone who's attractive, athletic, fit, witty, caring, and whom you have chemistry with. I really believe he is out there, though. Maybe not on Match, but you never know. I believe in treating your man like he's the only one on earth- and I want to find someone who feels the same about me. Someone who is in it for the long haul, through good times and bad. I was engaged a few years ago, and have been in a couple of serious relationships, but it just hasn't been "right", and I'm not willing to settle until that happens. When I think about what I look for in someone, I will be honest and say that physical attraction is extremely important. Yes, I know it's what's inside that counts, but lets face it- I think most people know by seeing a picture if they could see themselves with that person, and I don't think you should waste your time if you know it's just not going to happen. (So please have your picture posted if you decide that you want to make contact - that's only fair!) By the way, it doesn't matter where you live. I have to wonder about those people who put that they want to find someone within 50 miles of where they live. Sure, that would be ideal, but what if the love of your life lives 200 miles away and is waiting to meet you? Wouldn't any inconvenience be worth it? I'm just sayin!
Date men and women from Rogers, United States. Time to update the profile...So I met this coworker the other day. He seemed a little shy at first. He had introvert written all over his face. His wedding band blinded me when the light bounced off of it. I'm always interested in hearing how married folks met the mate. This story captured my attention.
This guy had come to the point in his life that he wanted to find a wife. He shared his goal with his close friends and they came up with a plan. They even set up a blog entitled Date XXXX (his name). I chuckled as he told me the screening process of how he and his friends would rank the women. The woman who is now is wife surprisingly was not at the top of his list. He had her listed as number three. When asked why, he said he felt like she was out of his league so he didn't even think there was a possibility. Funny how things happen that way.
That being said, I've been one to rule out the possibilities of love before giving someone a chance. I've also been on the receiving end of that thought process as well. So I'm going to go out on the edge here and not list my must haves or ideal date. Everything is negotiable if I meet the right person.
About me: I grew up in a small town in TN with a population of about 800 people. I married my high school sweetheart but it was over almost as soon as it started. I've had a few serious relationships but not many since then. I've never had kids but I love them. I consider myself pretty adventurous and i love to travel. I've lived in various cities small and large since then. Now I find myself in Rogers, AR. I moved here last May (2011) to accept an amazing job that I love dearly. My job keeps me busy but my goal this year is to seek and find that work/life balance that everyone encourages in the office!
