Date someone special from Peyton, United States. My closest friends are actually folks who use to work for me. We still stay in touch some almost daily or weekly. Some of the words they used to describe me was intelligent, witty, funny, and just a decent guy.
Any type of wit makes me laugh as long as it is not harmful to someone (you can be funny without hurting peoples feelings).
The one thing I am most proud of is giving my daughter life twice. The first time was with my wife and was plain just fun (the way all couples make life). The second time was flat out scary and not what any parent would want to have to go through. My daughter had stop breathing as a baby (febrile seizure) but I had learned CPR working in an underground gold mine here in Colorado (glad I took the training serious). After age 2 she had grown out of these episodes.
I have been divorce for going on over 20 years but I am very grateful for the time I was married, it gave me my daughter. The ex moved out of state after the divorce but I continued to stay a part of my daughter's life. While in grade school, she moved back to a town south of Denver. We still talk weekly and Dad is still Super Man (awesome).
I am looking for a lady of depth, someone I can talk to and share the fun things of life. I have dated shallow women and the sex will only take a relationship so far (not that it is not fun).
I believe in truth as much as possible in a relationship (just don't ask me if your hips are getting bigger, I am not an idiot, I may have to fib there).
I prefer women who are a bit independent but don't mind a man helping out. We all have our own strengths.
I like being debt free so I am conservative about spending money. I believe in pay as you go as much as possible. Not that I don't spend money or I wouldn't have a $600 fly rod (fishing pole). Having this philosophy allowed me to retire at 49 with a good income and few bills.
Meet single man from Peyton, United States. I love the outdoors and keeping things simple. Life is too short to sweat over the little things. I hate to argue and find fault with each other, need to accept each other for who we are. I stay active almost all the time and am far from being a couch potatoe. Love to go 4 wheeling, hike, workout, and just about anything fun as long as it doesn't scare the hell out of me, too much! Also love to travel the western states by vehicle since there is so much beauty here.
I want a happy-go-lucky person not someone always looking for a pessimistic excuse or avenue. One that doesn't have to look perfect every minute of the day spending hours doing it. Lets just throw on some jeans and hat and go for it.
If you smoke or drink heavily just keep on going.
Date a soulmate from Peyton, United States. I'll put this up first, as I realize you probably have A LOT of profiles to go through:
What can you expect should you decide to meet me? Well, I would prefer a nice, semi-quiet meeting over coffee, lunch, or dinner. I say semi-quiet as I don't want either of us to have to TALK LIKE THIS. I would ask you to pick a place, familiar to you, as I want you to feel safe. I'm somewhat old-fashioned, and don't believe in "going Dutch" (I wasn't raised that way). And, as I have read in many profiles and completely agree with, if we don't click, please say so. I'm a big boy, I can take it. Heck, at least we both got a day/afternoon/night out!
I get the emails saying Match found 5-20 new matches for me. So, I review the profiles (don't be scared, okay?). I have already seen your primary picture, so I look at the age range you are interested in, height requirements, smoking preference, and body-type preference. If I pass on those issues (and sometimes if I don't but you are very attractive to me), and I find you attractive, I read your profile and check out the rest of your pics. I'm semi-shy myself, but realize that some of you may be looking for the man to take the first step. So, I will email comment on a pic or just send an email (this generally means I am interested in you (wink wink). Sometimes I am at a loss for words, but I generally return when I'm ready. Then I await your response. If you're not interested, no pressure, it's cool. However, a "Thanks but no thanks" would be greatly appreciated.
Now, the formalities......
Hi, and thanks for stopping by. Self-description is a pain, but here goes .....
I like watching movies (all sorts), I love music (almost all sorts LOL), I like riding motorcycles, hiking, and taking pictures. I love animals, and dogs top the list. Personally, I've always had large breeds (German Shepherds, Rottys, Labs). My last dog was a female Rotty (Jasmine), but she passed back in 2004. I have a nice, peaceful house on 2.5 acres near Schriever AFB, and another small place in Fountain that I am working on (cleanup from my daughter, son-in-law, and grandkids) so I can put it on the market. Ultimately, I want an Island..... so I play Powerball, MegaMillions, Colorado Lotto LOL.
About every 2-3 years I change the look.....either buzzed hair (#2 on the clippers), no beard, no mustache (clean-cut, respectable LOL), or biker/hippie dude! Right now I'm doing the latter. I packed on a few extra pounds in the last two years, but I'm working on that. Hope to be back to a comfortable weight soon. I'm honest, trustworthy, true-blue, affectionate, responsible, and have a very good sense of humor (or so I've been told). I've also been accused of being too nice, too understanding. I believe in treating others the way I would like to be treated.
I was married for 26 1/2 years, and divorced in 2007. I have four children; three sons, one daughter, and four grandchildren; three girls, one boy. Go figure! I adore my grandkids. Most of my family (kids, ex) live in Missouri. I have my daughter and two of my grandkids living with me until they can join my son-in-law (in Missouri). Ask, I'll explain.
I smoke, but am in the process of quitting (difficult). I don't consider myself a drinker (a six-pack can last me 3 months LOL), but I am not opposed to drinking. However, I don't appreciate people who over-indulge regularly. I enjoy taking walks while holding hands, spooning, cuddling on the couch while watching a good show or movie.
I'm not interested in long-distance relationships, and I can spot a scam pretty quick, so please, at least be in Colorado! I find many "types" attractive. There is no hair color, eye color, body, etc. that is a favorite for me....it all boils down to the individual. Looks only take a relationship so far.
Feel free to email or IM. Always up for a nice chat!

Meet a man from United States. Hi! I am a lucky person. I have great kids, a good job, and a nice house. All that is missing is someone to share my life with. I love to buy flowers and do the little things for that special someone that shows how I feel everyday. I guess I am a romantic person. I have loved and lost but still believe that there is a special someone waiting for me. I am very involved with my church, like to read, and work around the house. Staying active and in good shape is very important to me. Are you ready to take a chance?

Meet a man from Colorado, United States. Howdy. I'm emotionally and financially secure. I grew up in Nebraska so I have those darn midwestern values including hardworking and honesty. I love to travel and I am committed to taking at least one vacation/ cruise every year. I enjoy hiking in the mountains. I occasionally lift weights for exercise. I've never gotten much into running. I've run 10Ks, but I'm not crazy about them. My interests vary widely from working on classic cars to spending the day at the art museum. I'm comfortable in either blue jeans or tuxedo. I can drink wine or beer, but I'm not a connoisseur of either. I like an occasional martini, but it has to be favored, e.g., appletini or a chocolate martini. I recently retired and enjoy the freedom. I haven't ruled out going back to work, but it would have to be something that I really, really enjoyed and/or was temporary. I like watching sunrises, sunsets, hot air balloon festivals, fireworks, and thunderstorms. I'm big into castles and cathedrals.
What am I looking for in date? I'm looking for a best friend and a partner. Someone to share and discuss ideas and philosophies with and, though we may not always agree, we are still best friends. I'm looking for someone that is kind and not rude or arrogant. Someone to watch those sunrises and sunsets with and to watch for shooting stars with. Someone to cuddle with on rainy days and to go hiking with on sunny day.
Date single man from Colorado, United States. I would describe myself as a humorous tinkerer who likes horticulture, riding trains, camping, hot tubbing, road trips, target practice , barbequeing, and motorcycles. Not into the bar scene. Not a sports fan unless the sport involves brooms. I am an omnivorous hominid who does not hunt. I prefer others to kill tasty animals for me to eat. As for fishing, there is a fine line between fishing and standing around looking like an idiot so I gave it up. My idea of relaxation is a quiet evening at home on a warm summer night sitting in an adirondack chair on the the patio listening to the howl of coyotes while sipping a margarita (frozen lime of course, blended,no salt, not shaken ,not stirred ) and watching stars while contemplating the virtues of steel reinforced concrete earth-bermed homes.Seeking wholesome female with no tatoos or piercings, non-smoker, no drugs, who likes composting, camping, road trips, getting dirty, target practicing, caring for animals.
