I am 6-4 athletic build and a former world class athlete (swimmer as everyone asks) that is looking for someone kind hearted, non judgemental and accountable for their actions and words. A woman that likes men!!! A woman that will champion my causes as I will champion hers. I have blue eyes and dark hair with a bit of graying on the sides. Socially I have quite a few friends and can be a guys guy pretty easily but prefer being in the middle of women when socializing at charities and/or funtions (you women just smell better and look better than men).
I believe women should be treated with dignity, respect and class. I am a southern man who opens doors, pulls out chairs, and stands when a lady leaves the table, but do have a bit of a wild side to me as well and can have fun doing shooters at the local redneck bar or clubing.
I think it would be great to find someone that would like to become friends, first, and then evolve into a companion that likes to eat out have fun, travel (preferably Italy), loves kids (I have a 22 year old son playing football at Hawaii, a 21 year old daughter at the Air Force Academy, and a 14 year old daughter at home that is with me every other week). My children are my passion and most certainly come first, but I look forward to meeting someone that can share in my passion and be comfortable around them.
I also work pretty hard and travel off and on guite a bit for business. I am in real estate and definately am passionate about my work as well but it does not consume me and I have plenty of flexibility to take off and play when I want to.

I have reciently dated someone who is 8 yrs older as well as someone who is quite abit younger. I do look several years younger than I am. I know a lot of guys say that but its true. I am VERY physically active and that contributes to my younger looks and attitude. I fully expect to work into my mid to late 70's, I enjoy what I do. I do not want to make the same mistake I made with my first and only marrage, in that I settled for what I didn't want. I do have 2 WONDERFUL children from that union, and I would not change my past for anything.

. With me, the glass is always half full. Life is short and at the end of the day I want to know that I've made a difference in some aspect of my life. I have a long "bucket list" and would like someone along for the ride as I make my list smaller. I really value communication, trust, and teamwork and I would like to help somebody else with their list as well. My interests are wide and varied and growing. My keen interest in people of all walks of life has taught me that everyone has something to offer if one is open and willing to listen and try to understand.
My two daughters are just it for me. Watching and guiding them through childhood is unbelievable gratifying.
I think more than anything I really value long and engaging conversations. While viewing a spectacular sunset, a picturesque view from the deck of an alpine bed and breakfast, or just over coffee, getting to know someone better never gets old and I think is essential to keeping relationships fresh and interesting.I guess i want to grow with somebody rather than away from them.
