I try to eat pretty well and stay pretty active and fit. After a dirtbike accident 3 years ago (Torn ACL) I took up Hot Yoga as a great way to assist my rehab and crazy, but now I'm hooked. I still go to yoga 2 to 4 times a week and been doing so for over 3 years. Love it, works my body and clears my mind !

Date someone special from United States. What are the words to describe and define me? Well, I believe that I am an above average listener. I think that my charm comes through on a first date in my ability and interest in the things that are important to my date. Everybody likes to talk about themselves, and that includes me, but finding a balance in conversation where true dialogue exists is really important in getting to know each other.
I mentioned religion before in the questions section, I have a sense that I should be doing more with my life and discovering a path toward a central purpose in living. In part, this is where my dissertation is leading me, toward the collection of data for my final doctoral project in Israel and Palestine, but also in an attempt to find a direction (quite literally in the "academic pilgrimage" idea I have) in life and to establish a new paradigm in my life.
So, many people I have met recently ask, "what do you do for fun?" (apparently I come off as very serious, but I definitely have a much lighter side). I love participating in sports; down hill skiing, snowboarding, rollerblading, and even scuba diving, but watching sports on TV does not usually hold my interest. However, PBS is an exception to this idea (NOVA, Charlie Rose, BBC News, etc.).
The thing that I look for most in a companion (perfect date, relationship...) is grace. Additionally, flexibility in thinking (open-mindedness), which also includes curiousity in new areas of learning I find to be of a much greater significance than I ever used to value. Physicyally, I know that I am not alone in looking for a woman that takes care of herself. I am not intolerant of a couple extra pounds, but a sloppy appearnace is probably an indication of lower self-worth. I also am a sucker for a woman with a pair of beautiful eyes. I am not partial to any specific color eyes, but I believe that the eyes are the gateway to the soul, for whatever that is worth.

. I'm a 40 year proud father of a 9 year old boy. Divorced 5 years. I watch a bit too much TV. I Love football but not the sports shows so I am only not willing to "talk about what I am thinking" on Sundays, Monday night, occasional Sat. some Thurs. I have found over the years that Burgers are better than salads. I have a wicked sense of humor and I will make you laugh. I'm in shape (slightly round is a shape). Fantastic cook. My work keeps me busy and does not allow alot of time meet new people. In my spare time I stay very active with friends and trying to make the most of it. I enjoy doing alot of outdoor activities when mother nature allows. Although there are sometimes relaxing indoors is nice also. I have an adventorous side that needs to be filled by someone with similar interests. I enjoy good conversation with someone who is witty and quick on there toes. Life doesnt always have to be serious, good laughter with friends is what we remember. Enjoy the time we have here and make some memories along the way!

. I'm a fun loving type of guy. Doesn't like to stay home much would rather be entertained with outdoor activities.
