I am more old fashion when it comes to values, but modern when it comes to relationships (this statement will make more since once you get to know me). I enjoy many activities both indoors and out. I am an avid mountain hiker, and help organize a hiking group in the warmer months that typically hikes above treeline. I am getting into snowshoeing this year, which I am really looking forward to. I also enjoy cycling, but did not get around to it as much this past year because of work. I am always challenging myself, especially in my writing, and in staying active and fit. I am not from Colorado, but love everything the area has to offer... how could you not? I do enjoy a lot of indoor activities as well; I love watching movies either at the cinema, or at home. I am an avid pool player, although I used to be much better when I played on a regular basis (although I still enjoy it!). I love bowling, even though I suck! :) I like a good beer at a local pub (I also brew beer) , or a nice glass of wine at home, or a wine tasting/ pairing. It is amazing how much there is to learn about wine! I also enjoy museums, and actually volunteer to prep fossils at a local museum on a weekly basis and love it! I also have a great, dry sense of humor, and enjoy making people laugh.
What I am looking for in a partner is someone is is optimistic, and positive about life, who loves to laugh, and has a great sense of humor. If you love or just appreciate sports, that is a big plus. Being active, and able to join me in outdoor activities, especially hiking in the mountains. someone who knows who they are and what they want out of life, and who expects to keep their individuality intact and independent, even in a partnership. I think that if you lose your identity in a relationship, you are not being honest with yourself, and it is probably not a good fit or fair for yourself, or that person. You will also be willing to take life and all of its adventurous with a sense of fun and excitement. Outward attractiveness is obviously important, but intelligence, creativeness, passion, romanticism, and a sense of humor really attract me as well. Trust and genuineness are paramount as the tie that makes all these qualities between two people strong and healthy. You should also love animals. I have a great dog, and two house rabbits (long story on them!).
