Date a soulmate from United States. Look, Let me be honest. I changed my profile because I don't want to try to make it sound like I am the perfect guy. I'm not. I don't want to be. I have looked through some profiles to get an idea of how to put it together, and came across some I know. They didn't sound like the people I knew. So I am going to try this my own way: Honest as possible. I am not a typical guy, but I do have some typical guy traits. I was in the NAVY for about ten years. I live in my own house, with my own stuff, so you need not worry that I live with my mom or have annoying roommates. I like the outdoors to a point, but I bought a house for a reason. Sometime I like to hit some trails or go hike, and sometimes I like to play some video games. I like to watch movies, and sometimes I just hang out. Family is important to me, but I dont talk to them every day. In fact I can go a week or two without talking to them, and am perfectly fine. They do call to have me fix things, and I try to be accommodating, but sometimes I just don't want to. I love to ride my motorcycle, and sometimes I put off other things so I can ride. Sometimes I am a big ol' dork, and other times I am painfully serious. Yes, I could stand to lose a few pounds, but I am not fat. At least I don't think so. I am 5'11" and weigh 200lbs. The charts say I should weigh about 185 give or take. I am working on it. So much so that I put a gym into my house, but maintaining the regimen can be difficulut due to my schedule and hobbies. I am a hard worker, almost to the point of being a workaholic. But I really like to work and hard work pays off with hard play. There is a book of things I have left out, but if I put it all here, what would we have to talk about? I like to think I am a bit of an enigma, with about as many layers as a person can have. SOOOOOO.... what am I looking for? A partner. Someone I don't have to carry 100% of the time. Someone who can match my sarcastic wit with her own. A woman on her own two feet that doesn't need to be with me, because she can support herself, but wants to be with me. I’m another transplant to the wonderful state of Colorado - we are what makes this place fun! Originally from North Carolina, I am on my second time around out here – back in CO since 2004. New adventures are what I strive for and think that the experiences we share throughout life provide the greatest fun and lasting memories.
My friends describe me as friendly, good personality, optimistic, laid back and fun to be around. I have a young spirit with the mindset that “age is only a state of mind”. I thoroughly enjoy all types of outdoor activities (backpacking, snowboarding, river rafting, disc golf, etc.), going to see live music (jam bands and other soulful music), but also enjoy cooking up a tasty dinner and chilling to a good movie. Volunteering for environmental initiatives to help do my part to save the Earth is also important to me and I would absolutely be into traveling more abroad. Have the work hard – play harder mentality.

. If you want a man to show up well dressed and knowing everything about the wine list – well that is not me. I am a casual person and more then likely I will show up in my hiking pants or have ridden my bike to dinner. Don’t get me wrong I enjoy dressing up and enjoying a good play or opera and drinks after but that is a once in a while treat. My phone has the time and weather for Auckland, Cairo, and doubling programmed in it as I want to visit each of these cities in my life.
I love going out hiking, mountain biking (not too good at this of lately), Skiing or a tip to a local hot spring and relax. I do take a weekend a month and mow the lawn or work on my garden but most of the time it’s out and about. The biggest excitement to me is my blank pass port I so want to fill it with travels abroad; I am not sure where to start.
When I first meet people I am rather reserved but quite open minded. I am eager to learn about who I am getting to know. Over the night I will open up and we eventually will have a good laugh. Though my life I have been the social butterfly and realized it is time to sit back and listen for a while – the butterfly will still come out just takes some time to show its wings.
