Meet someone special from Colorado, United States. I have been in Boulder for about five years now and still love the area. Originally from the east coast, which still is home, I moved out here after college. I went to a school that is pretty similar to CU, and got a BA in marketing and economics. I went to London after I graduated and worked for a short stint at the Marriott headquarters. When I moved out here I worked at one of the local hotels. It was nice and fit my lifestyle, but I have moved on and I am currently setting up my own business that works with small companies that need help fixing their books.
I am close with my family, which as it is has grown pretty big. There was a family wedding recently and it was great to spend time with the people that I have not seen in some time. I am looking for someone that has a strong relationship with family, but with a solid independent side.

You already know my story: just another mid-western twenty-something that moved to Denver a few years ago without knowing anyone or anything out here and now never plans to leave. But in the meantime of being busy at work and being lazy at socializing, I will have to find that there is more to Colorado life that I can be doing and hopefully with the right person along for the journey. I don't easily fit into categories (especially in filling out these profiles), but people always seem to be fascinated with me. I tend to get a quick reputation as reserved serious and they can never quite figure me out, but I don't really take myself too cereal. You would be wrong to mistake my calm, soft-spoken nature for boring, though, because I am liable to say anything to get the laughs, even if it is only amusing to me. I'm sure that I am an ordinary guy in most ways, and an extraordinary one in ways you will just have to find out about.
Since there is probably no market for tall, intelligent, witty gentlemen in 'Menver', I can only hope the internet can help expose me to a wider range of ladies to find something in common with for some new adventures. With that, I will leave the "who I'm looking for" pretty broad, but would certainly hope to meet women that are smart, fun yet mature, and of course, full of feminine wonder. I honestly don't know what "internet dating" is, but consider this more an internet *meeting* avenue and so I am not opposed to being introduced to any new friendly people.
I'm sorry that I am not able to read emails here, but I'm sure if we leave some creative breadcrumbs we can still find a way around that. I'm not very difficult to find...

. Im pretty (exceptionally) laid back, unless someone says something disparaging about Chipotle. I think my dog would say that Im pretty reliable, I totally make sure to feed him twice a day. My sense of humor is all over the place. I enjoy the sarcastic, biting social commentary one moment and then laugh hysterically at some silly sophomoric your mamma joke. Pretty much everything I do is, on some level, to make someone laugh, even if its just me (it's often just me). I like to take pictures that no one else likes but me but I also really don't care when i have an art show for me. I apparently REALLY like collecting movies, maybe more than actually watching them. I'm not sure if its because of some brand of OCD, poor impulse control or some other reason but I cannot get enough movies. I'm fairly uncomfortable writing about myself mainly because when I write all the great stuff about me it feels like bragging, you know. And it's definitely all true, the great things I say about myself... don't check into it though.
I'm really looking for someone who is fun to hang out with and isn't out of their comfort zone going out and causing trouble on the town or staying in for burned grilled cheese and a DVR catch-up night. Someone that is smart, not too high-strung (is anyone looking for someone that is a high maintenance maniac?), likes to be outdoors, enjoys drinking too much wine on a school night, doesn't take them selves or the world too seriously, and is sexy to me. Here's the deal; I am going to give you crap about something at some point so if you can't laugh at yourself, we aren't going to get along. That said, I'm extremely self deprecating and can take it as well as I give it.
