I quit drinking alcohol ten years ago, kinda drew the line back then...it was an Executive decision, the earth and my life turned upside down (right-side up?) at that time. That said, I don't mind being around people drinking, but if it is a daily habit for you or an absolute necessity every weekend, then that wouldn't work for either of us.
I haven't met that special someone at church...actually am in the middle of a search for a new church after a 6 month break from church. I am pretty conservative theologically, but love service to refugees and the mentally ill, and have enjoyed time in Christian missions both in impoverished countries and here in the US.

I still love going to see movies. Watching them at home is great, too, but I like the big screen. And I love live music -- Red Rocks, Bluebird, Gothic. Funky stuff and indie bands, mostly.
I like to cook big meals with people and drink wine while doing so. If you're interested in these kinds of things, well...I'll cook you something good.
Some other favorite things: family, my dogs (two), great friends, The Daily Show, Wes Anderson movies, Jazz Fest in New Orleans, music (while doing most anything), getting up in the mountains, pho, cheeseburgers, and great novels (I'm picky). I also lived in Jackson Hole and Austin, TX before moving to Colorado, and loved both places.

So I'm supposed to give you some kinda auto-biographic sales pitch.....super-active, outdoorsy guy, i find it difficult to sit inside if it's daytime. From camping, cycling, snowboarding, photography, fitness and travel, you can pretty much find me doing one or a combination thereof. I suppose you can occasionally find me watching a movie or searching for the end of the Internet. I grew up w/ a strong family presence. I credit that to my adult awesomeness first and foremost.
I'm a bit of an old-soul type of guy in a sense I like to do/fix/build things for myself...I'm a tools and brawn guy you could say. I enjoy the sense of self-accomplishment building/fixing something for yourself (thanks Dad). I LOVE this CO but do find myself exploring it alone. That said I also like to cook so I sure can appreciate a stocked kitchen, meat thermometer and ice cubes.
I really enjoy my job, but when I walk out that door, that's it until the next day. I'm fortunate to work for a firm that appreciates work/life harmony. My deal is work to live, not vice-versa. If I could find that spark w/ someone who loves outdoors, is smart, active, funny, attractive and family-oriented then this membership will be justified.
