Date single man from Crested Butte, United States. I am trying this site to simply see who the truly radiant and available women are in the area. After traveling and living around the world the past several years I have returned to Crested Butte to live and to be a horseback mountain guide/ wrangler again. I had a horse ranch and guided for years here in the past. I will be managing my hedge fund and riding horses in the Rockies all summer...I love the two extremes and the balance of doing both. I have a terrific life and would love to share it with a significant other.
I was married once for 28 years (divorced 5 years ago/ she is remarried in Atlanta now) She was a terrific mom and we raised 2 outstanding young adults in Crested Butte. Both are out of college, successful and on their own now. Son is a Naval officer and aviator and an instructor at SEAL base at Coronada. Daughter is a teacher in Crested Butte.
Not much drama or baggage here. I am told that I am fun, funny and look no where near my age. My women friends advise me often that they love my smile. All I know is I like to smile a lot.
I am an avid horseman, telemark skier and have always been an athlete. I still do strength, speed and agility training 3-6 days a week. I love it.
I have an extensive finance/risk management and business background and also had a horse ranch in Crested Butte for years, but after 9-11, I wanted to serve our country. I spent 5 years in uniform...2 years in the Middle East.
I also provided (without pay) armed security for a well known Australian journalist a few years ago, as we traveled through Myanmar/ Burma. His book on the genocide in Burma was just published "Secret Genocide" by Daniel Pedersen.
I love smart, savvy, confident, adventurous and "radiant" women. A beautiful genuine smile is the sexiest thing in the world.... and if the kissing isn't incredible....the romance isn't going anywhere.
Meet someone special from Crested Butte, United States. It's her smile that gets to me,the giggle, that playful, mischievous, spirit. The taunting look in her eyes that suggests "I could be up to something and we both know I'm capable of anything." Do you dare ever let down your guard, after glimpsing those smiling eyes. Life doesn’t have to lose its luster.Isn't conversation where it all starts and ends? What better sound to fill a room, than the laughter that brings it to life? It's so natural, when you're with the right person. Are you laughing as much as you'd like? Is life what you envisioned? As much fun as it should be? In the right company, anything's possible. Have you ever known that magical feeling? Known someone that took your breath away, not just through aesthetics, but through personality and style? Whose presence left you energized and craving more? Who stirred a reawakening of the inner child and left you feeling like a kid again in a world of infinite possibilities? Someone with the ability to plant a lingering smile...Why would anyone settle for less? What a sad compromise that'd be. I can't imagine anything more indispensable, more essential to true happiness, than finding that one special person in your life that has the ability to keep you smiling and absorbed in your own private universe. Who better to walk through life with?A person can never have too many cherished friends. I've always believed it's the best platform to build upon...Where else would you want to start building, than on a solid foundation. It seems to me, the logical beginning. No pressure, no expectations; just a gentle, easy approach to getting to know each other. If you're anxious to rush into something, I'd tax your patience. Given the opportunity, I'm sure I can find another way:)
I want to spend my time on the trails, with that one special woman I find attractive and interesting. If you have a light-hearted nature, I'd love to hear from you...
It's not the past I'm interested in,it's your personality that I want to know more about. I want to know how hard you're going to make me work to elicit a smile. How much harder I'll have to work to evoke laughter.I just want to laugh. That has to be how hearts are won and lost,I'd think. What would life be like with someone who's so taken with you that he lives for the sound of your laughter.Don't sell yourself short by settling for less.
Have you ever considered life in the mountains? What's your definition of paradise? What would life be like if your dreams were realized? Are you driven by your playful side? In search of a lightning strike? For me, it begins with good conversation with a woman who has a whimsical attitude, healthy disdain for the ordinary and a pervasive playful side. My actual age is 52. Would you have seen my profile if I'd listed it above? I'm looking for good friends now that I've relocated to Colorado, not a date. I want to spend my free time with the woman who's my best friend. To have the chance to get to know her in a casual setting, in the hopes we'll find that special synergy that lights us both up. From the beginning, it'll be as if we're old friends who've known each other all our lives. Comfortable, stimulating conversation that flows fluidly and naturally. What lights you up, your dreams, passions and interests? Here's an excerpt from Chasing Shadows: Thoughts of Hadleyville slowly slipped away as the town faded from view in the rear view mirror, displaced by thoughts of Lisa, whose absence left me feeling somewhat adrift. She was the one person in the entire universe who held the key to my happiness. Each time I’ve shared that realization with her she’s responded in the same fashion. After holding the imaginary key up to the light and scrutinizing it somewhat suspiciously, she swallows it ceremoniously; proclaiming it will never be lost, never belong to another and will probably give her indigestion. Naturally I feel compelled to encourage her to add antacids to the grocery list
