Would you believe I'm uncomplicated? It's true. I'm also easy going and very open to what ever life decides to throw my way. Because of my upbringing and culture, I am a touchy-feely person who usually greets friends with a kiss on the cheek and a hug. I'm affectionate and expect the same in return.

I laugh a lot and talk a lot. I grew up a total tom boy playing baseball in the street and tackle football in the front yard. I can hang with the fellas and watch a good game, drink a beer or two, talk smack, and get loud or I can be a total lady. But being a lady ALL the time isn't very fun. I know when to play the part. . I grew up in Germany and emigrated to Arizona about 7 years ago. This is definitely my dream come true, the land of opportunities and I greatly enjoy that here I can be whatever I like to be as long as I put my passion behind it.
I am a very down-to earth-person, who uses common sense as the most important guideline for my life. I love to meet people, to sit down and hear their story and learn from their experience. I strive to see the beauty in the little everyday things and to treat every day as a treasure that I can make as good or as bad as I choose. It's all in the perspective that we create ourselves. I I try not to let those little grudges and bad experiences with people spoil my day. My friends would probably consider me reliable, a good buddy, a little adventurous sometimes (yes I took my old 2WD truck on the dirt road in the mountains, so what?). I am very organzied but can be quite spontaneous if something is fun and I have the right partner I trust.
Recently I became very interested in hiking and outdoorsy activities (my girl scout days are catching up with me) and would love for somebody to share that with me as it seems to be an increasingly bigger part of my life. Being outdoors is my outlet to keep my sanity and find myself as a human again after a week of craziness.
My other big passion is country music and dancing (twostepping) although I can probably be persuaded to try other styles.
Growing up in Europe I have visited Austria, Switzerland, Italy, France, Netherlands and England and am very grateful for the experiences and the cultural exposure. I used to speak a little French (enough to get me by for a week with a Swiss guest family), but that has been all but buried in those deep drawers in the brain spirals.
A perfect weekend day would look something like this: Getting up early to go hiking or doing an outdoor activity, then doing some computer stuff, making a dish for a get-together like a potluck or BBQ, hanging out with friends around a pool or fire pit (or campfire) to close out the evening.
