I have been an advocate most of my life for the weak or the under-dog, but I went back to school in my 50s to do graduate studies at the opposite end of the age spectrum than where I started ( 3rd graders to the elderly) and now I feel some of my better accomplishments are in the field of gerontology. This is my passion. 'Course, at age 68, as I've had pointed out to me, "I are one; har, har!"
My social life? Ha! I was fairly social in CA before moving to AZ but it is hard to establish oneself in a couple's world if single. I have been single longer than I was married (21 yrs.) and although got close to matrimony three times w/three different loves, was not brave enough to take the plunge. How's that for honesty? I don't think I was really interested then; how-some-ever, things change & so do I. If we click a little & think we might more, I promise you I will give it my all to make it work for I am NOT in this to simply dilly dally away time on a dinner/theater date (altho' I do like nice restaurants and live theater); I'm trying to find out if God means for me to fall in love again. I told Him (God) that if He wanted me to have another husband that He would have to put that man right in my arms & then it was pointed out to me that I was acting like the man, the row boat, & the flood (if you know this one, we're off to a good start!) Anyhoot, hence this run; bout; try (?) w/ Match.com.

I really am very flexible; bend, but don't break easily and I'm not as serious as all this sounds (after having read it over) but wanted to above all, be honest. I refuse to be negative & will waste little time on complainers. That's not to say I NEVER fall prey to these maladies, but I do try to enjoy life wherever & whenever life finds me!

But what would a day be without a short daily read from "The Secret".
