Recently I found myself a long way from my friends back in New York. Here in Arizona I find I haven't met nearly as many new friends as I would have hoped. It would be nice to find someone who is willing to let me become a small part of their life, and become a part of my own.

Now that the weather is nice out again I am getting back into hiking and bike riding, and am always on the lookout for a good trail. I also really enjoy cooking, though I never use a recipe book... I figure you just need to add olive oil, garlic, and random spices and everything all works out in the end. It's weird that I get excited about it, but I love going in the kitchen with a bunch of fresh ingredients and just tossing them all together into something new. I have been growing fresh tomatoes and peppers on my porch, but with the cold lasting so long this season I might have to wait just a bit longer for them to come in...
I love music and am thinking about playing again. I used to play drums but gave it up because I moved so much and they arent easy to keep packing and unpacking! I am a big fan of classic rock, and old school Weezer, and newer bands like Arcade Fire. Still though, you cant really go wrong with some 80s pop music. Rick Astley? Yes please.
