I'll start by saying, that I like long walks on the beach, lightening storms and sunsets that take my breath away....ha, ha, (Just kidding, sorry!)
Hmmm, ok, well, actually, I'm a kind of a shy guy (can't you tell that already?), yet I have the ability to be obnoxious with just the right person and usually in a place we aren't supposed to be loud!! (that makes it all the more fun, see?) I enjoy spending time doing the sort of things that leave a lasting memory (and sometimes a lasting mark!! just kidding). Well, I guess there are the random ODD facts about me you should know: I use comma's, where, I'm not, supposed to. I'm a private citizen, yet I receive fan mail throughout the year! I also try to work out as often as I can, but I have an IMpersonal trainer - we meet at the gym, we don't talk, he works out alone, and I go home......why am I paying this guy again??
But seriously ladies (and a few gay men that just won't take NO for an answer), I'm a passionate man. That passion runs deep in the things I do, the values I keep, and the family I was born into. 3. Love and Romance.
Are you a romantic? Have you ever been in love?? I don't mean with you car or your cat, I mean, a deep overwhelming love that feels like Christmas when you were 6 years old!! A love that can last a lifetime; changing the way you see life forever after...(pretty deep stuff, huh?)
4. Luggage.
Although it would be nice if you had a complete set of Tumi to travel with that also matches your shoes, I'm actually talking about the bad kind!! There IS a "boarding limit", you know!
5. Commitment and LOYALTY.
Although those should be part of family values, I wanted to list it separately because they're THAT important to me! I have a "team concept" about relationships that I can share with you later (Thank goodness, right??)
6. Time.
Yep, you read that right! Do you the time and ability to commit to a relationship? Without sounding too preachy; is your heart clear and pure and ready to enter into a new relationship? I think everyone needs to ask themselves that before even joining a site like this. It saves ALOT of heartache later.
SO HERE'S THE BOTTOM LINE: I'm just looking for the sweet, caring, decent "girl next door" -- uh, except for the time my family lived next door to the brothel! I have been told that I am easy to talk to, outgoing, funny, and fun to be around. I'm quick with a joke and I can take a joke too. I enjoy being outdoors, and I'm not afraid of the summer heat. My positive spin on that is that it's never cold here. One of the reasons I left the east coast is because I didn't want to shovel snow, scrape ice off a windshield, or have my car slip and slide around while driving. AND if I want snow I can drive up to see it and play in it within 2 hours. I do love Flagstaff because the tall pines remind me of the east coast.
I am most passionate about my family. My kids mean the world to me as they are the single best thing I helped create. I have joint custody so they are with me frequently. I tend to be pretty passionate about work as well. I have always been a career focused person and willing to work hard to achieve success. All of the hard work has paid off because I have a job that I truly enjoy going to every day (well every week day that is). That doesn't mean that I am all work and no play. I've done some traveling and would like to do more with the right person. I love the ocean and I flat out don't see it enough. Either coast is fine but the quicker trips to the west coast are best these days.
I am a die hard New England sports fan. I enjoy playing golf, I do some running, and I picked up a tennis racket recently after not having played for close to 30 years. I have completed a couple of half marathons and a full one. That was a bucket list item that I am happy to have checked off.
