I am originally from Boston, moved out here in '98 and graduated from ASU. I have been told I am practically a native because I have been here so long. I guess I would say I'm a mature, medium (low sounds bad!) maintenance Southern girl without all the twang. I'm an only child, my parents are still married, and I'm a daddy's girl, but not in a spoiled rotten kind of way, but more of in a buddy kind of way!

I recently turned 30 and decided it was time to join one of these sites since the bar scene hasn't been working out too well for me :) I am originally from Ohio (the Akron area) and went to college in South Carolina. I attended Coastal Carolina University and earned my BSBA in Management and Marketing. After I graduated college I moved out to Phoenix to try something new and started my career. I have worked for the same company for the past 7 years and earned my MBA and MAED from the University of Phoenix since I have been in AZ.
I currently live in Scottsdale but visit my friends and family every chance I get. I am a big family person and think that I have by far the most amazing family in the entire world! I am super close to my mom, dad, sisters, brother-in-laws, and my 9-month year old nephew who is the love my life. My favorite place to be with my family is our lake house near Sandusky, OH where we can relax, fish, play corn hole, and take the boat to the islands. I do wish I was closer to the fam but my friends have become my second family in AZ. I am blessed to have found an amazing group of friends that I can depend on for anything. On the weekends we spend most our time out in about in old town, at sporting events, or traveling for super fun weekend trips.

I play softball and volleyball currently and spend my nights and weekends watching baseball, football, basketball, and even golf. I recently moved back to Arizona from North Dakota. Before that, I spent a winter in Utah. It's nice to be back although this heat is killing me! I can't say that Arizona is my forever home but for now I will grin and bear it. I enjoy the outdoors very much. I have always said that when I do design my own home someday it will have a larger yard than interior living space.
When it's not terribly hot outside you can find me hiking, riding my bike or taking my dog for a walk. I do work out regularly and take pride in staying fit. It would be nice to find that quality in someone as well. I am born and raised vegetarian...Don't worry I don't care what you eat. Just please don't expect me to like you if you hunt. I don't preach my thoughts it is just simply what I believe. Also, in return please don't ask me where I get my protein or what my shoes are made of! Manmade materials, duh. :)
I love going to concerts and festivals. It looks like I will be missing out on the Outside Lands festival in San Francisco next month. I really wanted to see Sean Hayes! I'm sure I will have the opportunity again. I recently saw Santigold in Phoenix, she sounds amazing live. The Black Keys will be here in October, I'm there.
I would say that I'm the creative type. I enjoy all forms of art, I am a painter myself and would love to spend more time seeking out local artists and events. I like being crafty and usually have more than one project in the works. My back is a tattoo, so you would have to be attracted to that sort of thing. I love a tattooed man, but it's not a deal breaker.
And finally, why I am on here... I am at the point in my life where I have realized that I really want to share my life with someone.
