When I first signed up, I had about a two sentence description because A) I'm not the biggest fan of talking about myself and B) I just wanted to get to the part where I could see pictures of you all! So, I'm finally taking a stab at this free writing thing...
I am a huge nerd! 90% of the time, I can't even finish a joke or tell a funny story without laughing so hard that the person/people listening have absolutely NO CLUE what I'm trying to say. Even though, I'm short, I'm a klutz. I have an obsession with gum and have at least 2 different flavors in my purse at any given time and probably 5-6 packs at my desk at work. I love chocolate, but I only give in once in a while, because I don't understand the concept of "tasting" when it comes to dessert. If weekends and chocolate didn't exist, I'd probably be 20lbs lighter. BUT... I'm up by 4:30am and at the gym by 5:30am almost every day. My absolute favorite workout is kick boxing...not Tae Bo style, but REAL kick boxing...punching and kicking a big a$$ bag or a person!!!! Don't worry, I'm not a violent girl, but I do have mean left hook. :) I've been told I'm too nice, too caring, and too giving. I love my friends and family with everything I have. My parents have been married for almost 37 years and I'm very proud of that. I can ramble and provide all the feedback and advice in the world, if you so desire, or, I can sit there, shut up and listen until you lose your voice. I'm a total softy when it comes to feelings and emotions in my personal life, but at work, I can take some rough criticism and use it to learn and grow. I'm very hard working and have been accused of being a workaholic. I'm goal oriented, sometimes my goals may be a little unrealistic... At the age of 20, I said I'd be retired by 30. That's clearly not going to happen unless if I win the Powerball a few times and I saw a few because knowing myself, I'd probably buy everyone and their mom some pretty freakin awesome gifts! Coffee is my best friend, but I've learned the hard way, I can't do more than 5 shots of espresso in one drink. Speaking of drinking... an ice old beer on a really hot summer day after work is AMAZING, while a glass of red wine on chilly night is warming and relaxing. My maintenance depends on your time frame...I can be showered and ready in 15 minutes if you'll take me with either dirty hair or wet hair and no make-up, or give me an hour and I can be all done up.
As far as what I'm looking for: I've been told I'm picky, but all I ask for is a best friend who I'm attracted to. It's not that hard, is it???? (Given that I'm on Match, it's obviously harder than what I thought) :) A man who is smarter than me and can challenge is me is my biggest turn on. While I'm not that old fashioned, I do appreciate a phone call in the getting to know you stages, rather than text message essays. You have to be able to make me laugh, but in all honesty, it's not hard. There's a very fine line between cocky and confident and confidence is probably next in line to intelligence. I'm an extremely sarcastic person, so I don't mix well with sensitive or insecure guys. If I know there is something stupid and shallow about yourself that bugs you, like you have a weird mole or a random gray hair or something completely out there, I'll pick on you and laugh at you until I bore myself with my own jokes. On the other hand, I would NEVER intentionally hurt your feelings or bring up something I know is off limits. And if I dish it out, I expect you to return it. :) I am looking for someone who can be a bum and hang out in sweats with me on the weekend, but is also willing to dress up in a suit and act like a gentleman when the time calls for it. My quirks - I love a hats, watches, and cologne.
At the end of the day, I'm a pretty laid back, hard working girl, with goals, morals and values and am looking for the same in a man. :)

I'm probably not what you expected from a high school math teacher. I consider myself an easy-going, down-to-earth girl that just happens to live in Scottsdale. :) I don't play games and try to live my life with as little drama as possible. I love going out and trying new things and new places just as much as cuddling on my couch and watching a movie. I grew up riding horses, so I am not afraid to get outside and get a little dirty. The ability to go snowboarding, hiking, basically anything outdoors mostly all year long except for snowboarding! I'm a big fan of hiking...I try and hike Camelback (Echo Canyon) once a week and want to get to some other mountains too! As much as I love it here I want to see the rest of the world and experience other cultures.
