Especially if you don't own a tripod and have over zealous friends and family who only aim in your general direction and not at you when taking pictures. Friends: I keep reading about "friends first" and then insisting on a picture before corresponding. "You have a nice profile but I want to see what you look like first!" Wow. No Thanks. I have a variety of friends and I don't really care what they look like. As long as they are kind and respectful they are beautiful to me. I see meeting someone as getting to know them as a friend and possibly more. Sometimes it takes getting to know someone before falling for them. And for some, it is an almost instant attraction- chemistry. I am quite sure that most of us have had both types of relationships and know that either kind can go either direction.
