I am looking for that special someone who will spend the time alone with me enjoying God's country and maybe hikes in the Red Rock canyons near Sedona, AZ or Kanab, Utah and maybe the Grand Canyon. It is my 10th year reunion in 2012 to hike to the bottom of Havasupai Canyon. I have done this every 10 years since I was 12. I must explain that the Supai walk is not as difficult as the Grand Canyon. It has a beautiful falls at the end. Also, there are helicopters that fly in these days. So, not to worry! That is to be grateful for I guess!! They were not there in '62.
I have one son who lives in NYC. He met his bride-to-be on Match.com. They will marry in 2012. I love the young lady...great Match! They are both 37 years old and have waited for each other. I am hoping I will do as well.
I enjoy travel, fishing, volunteering with Maggie, my hound dog, in care homes, and my love of the Lord. I have held Bible studies for singles in my home and helped to start a single group in my church. I am always willing to give a helping hand when needed. Single people are important to me. They are often over looked in social settings. I guess since I retired from my career as a dental hygienist I have taken up caring for singles. Please understand.... I enjoy traveling, A few years ago I went on a cruise ship to Alaska & I enjoyed it so much I am hoping to go again in 2012. I also love to ride horses owned a quarter horse for l7 years.. . I've been single for a very long time, and frankly, have never been happier. I'm more curious about dating than interested in finding a permanent partner. I'm a vegan, love to dance, love to ride horses, and am grateful to be at this stage in my life: part-time retired, and working part-time for fun. I'm looking forward to volunteering with veterans at a horse-therapy facility, which is something I've wanted to do forever, but previous job demands made it untenable. I think my closest friends would either call me smart or a smart-ass. My social life revolves around the things I like to do. Since relocating to the Prescott area, I've been forced to learn how to cook because the restaurant choices are horrible, especially for vegans--don't really like cooking, but it's better than starving.
