. I lost my wife of forty years to breast CA about two years. My late wife had everything - beauty, class, charm, multi-talented, breeding, intelligence (she was a Wellesley College graduate, and a medical doctor when few women were given the opportunity to enter medical school). She gave me two teriffic children (both long out of the house).
I finally am at a point where I can see myself spending quality time with another woman, and I think I will be able to appreciate another woman without comparing her to my late wife. But I have very high standards vis-a-vis education and accomplishments.

I love my work, and am still working full time. While I have lived in Tucson since 2001, I am only just getting out into the community. My wife took ill shortly after we moved here, so we didn't get out into the community much. I am on the Advisory Board of the U of A, and am looking to get involved, at the board level, with a couple of other organizations, including not-for-profit theater. I quite enjoy live theater, and was the President of the Board of a not-for-profit theater on the East Coast.
I am an avid hiker, and started a hiking group which meets every Saturday morning. We hike for three hours, or so, and then retreat to my club where we have a two to three hour breakfast where we solve all the problems of the world.
I am trim and fit. I have my own fully equipped gym and exercise daily. I enjoy ethnic food, ballroom dancing, and most of all laughing.
