About me... I'm 33 years young, in the best shape of my life both physically and financially. I'm have an amazing career in I.T. on top of my volunteer work in law enforcement, and I'm grateful for that every day of my life.
I've been described as a quiet and reserved yet spontaneous individual (is there truly such a thing?). Another way I've been described is "Low Maintenance." I guess that means I'm not always seeking approval from others, or seeeking to be impressed by others. rted to prep for half-marathons #3 4 this fall. On saturday mornings you can usually find me at Sabino Canyon or Saguaro East struggling up and down the hills.
Likewise, I've redeveloped an appreciation for live music and have already planned a full slate of concerts in the summer and fall. I am dedicated to my job and it is an important part of my life, but I've realized that work is only temporary and I need to seek out the greater things in this world.
I know that God has a plan for my life, I'm just not certain on the timing. Someone with an active faith is a must, I need a friend who I can talk with about my religious views and lifestyle from day 1. I've learned the hard way that it's not something that can be developed over time.
Also I'm looking for someone who is independent and outgoing. I tend to travel with my job frequently and at times it can be for extended periods (unfortunately one of those periods is rapidly approaching), that being said it's always nice to be missed, but both of us having careers and life ambitions are essential.

Date a man from United States. Let's see, I'm just moved from Las Vegas to Scottsdale a couple of weeks ago, so I'm settling in.
Las Vegas was just the most recent stop for me, but one of many. I was born in New York, and lived all over the world in between, mostly to advance my career.
I'm a pretty laid-back guy, who prefers to be around like-minded people. I work hard during the week, and make the most of my free time on the weekends, or whatever days off I happen to have. That can be anything from going out on the town, to taking it easy at home. There's always a nice mix of both too, whether it be going out to a nice dinner, then relaxing at the house, or cooking at home before hitting the hot spots with friends.
I'm a big outdoorsman too. I consider myself pretty proficient at camping, hiking, skiing, SCUBA diving, so on and so forth.
I like to exercise as well, whether it be hitting the gym for a bit after work, or taking my Labrador Retriever on a run around the park. I suppose that ties into my sporting activities, which generally consist of playing soccer. I like to watch pretty much everything else, though. Granted, I am definitely not a weekend warrior, especially when I'm dating someone.
I'm not going to even attempt to try to describe my ideal match here. I'm not the type to pigeonhole myself into some idealistic image. Just when you think you've pegged what you want, someone could instantaneously change it. Plus, I'm just kind of feeling this site out right now. I've never really endeavored in such new horizons, but I'm not opposed to it either. My parents always said I could be anything I wanted to be. Well I wanted to superman but for some reason people don't respond to a 30 year old wearing blue spandex and red briefs, haha. Well I don't wear a cape but I do wear a uniform to work everyday. I wear my uniform with great pride and I could not imagine doing anything else. It's nice to know I can make a difference in someone's life everyday, even if it's a small thing. Its always awesome to know that maybe someone will remember something I did that just took a few minutes of my time. But that little thing can echo in their lives and make and have a positive effect on them.
My life isn't all about work though...somewhere along the way I really became passionate about running and hiking outside. I really find the mountains and trails in arizona to be the most peaceful. Being outdoors allows me to just let everything go and just be myself. There is always a new place to explore or discover. There is just something amazing and peacefull about being outdoors and spending time with my dog. I think he enjoys it more then i do. Theres a picture of him and I after hike to the to of west peak in Sedona, I swear he is smiling in the picture!
You don't have to come with me, but if your the kind of woman who can spend an hour together hiking surrounded some of the greatest views this exciting city has to offer, before relaxing with a great lunch, that would be great!
About two years ago i started doing volunteer work. It kinda happened by accident, but then again everything happens for a reason. It is so rewarding to hang out with my lilttle bro. I got hooked on making a difference for someone sometimes in big ways, but usually its the small things like teaching him how to smash a fish with a pan to make panfish or how sneak sneak candy in to the movie theater,lol.
My family always had dogs growing up. My dog was a but of a free spirt and would always run away though. His name was Whiskey so it was pretty funny when he would leave. We would drive around the neighborhood yelling “whiskey.....whiskey!” Now I have my own dog, a lab mix. He is 6 but i swear he thinks he is still a puppy. We love to go on bike rides, hikes or even a trip in the car. Great if you have a dog, cats are cool too. But no fish, unless it's sushi lol.
I like to stay in shape especially for my job. its pretty physical so i wanna be prepared for whatever comes my way. I weight train, run, I did the p90x thing for a bit. I like to try new things to get fit. If you have got a favorite, introduce me!

I consulted the experts and they told me that working in a predominantly male field and living in a relatively small town is not conducive to fostering new romantic interests. So here I am.
Sarcasm and self-deprecating humor aside, I have been trying to find a way to describe myself without just listing adjectives. So how does one say that he is simply a nice guy who is looking for someone with whom he can share life’s experiences? I believe that people best get to know one another through conversation, but it seems that the art of conversation is dying and being replaced by 140 character updates. Perhaps I am just an analog watch in a digital age.
I am originally from New England and came to the desert for work. I keep busy by remaining active. I am usually in the gym in the morning and am currently swimming most afternoons. I don't consider myself a gym rat but it gives me an hour or so with my headphones on and wakes me up for the day. I am always good for a witty remark or comeback, overall I just like to have a good time and try to enjoy whatever it is I am doing.

. Growing up on the streets of a small southern burb of Chitown molded me into a loyal and honest person with a sarcastic sense of humor. I was born and raised just south of Chicago (go Cubs go). I've left the midwest but it hasn't left me. It taught me to be a great friend to all those around me. I also have a hard time at saying no to anyone but that's just me. I am always willing to help out. Since conquering graduate school, I have called Florida, Washington DC and AZ home. I've been in AZ since 2005 so the desert is nothing new to me but I have a lot more on my list to explore and experience with someone.
I've become talented as of late in front of the grill (man cooking) or so I like to think and I challenge you to put that to the test. Try me. Luckily the climate here in the valley allows me to refine my skills year round. I might starve if I was forced into the kitchen unwillingly...

I prefer getting up at the crack of dawn to work out and I have my dad to blame for that. I sleep with one foot outside of the covers, it keeps me cool. I consistently lose to my mom in scrabble and I get so frustrated but I return the favor in ping pong. When I am nervous, I turn to humor to lighten the mood. I can successfully smuggle metallic object past airport security.
