Date someone special from Anthem, United States. WOW, I woke up and realized I'm 47 and single with a 9 year old son. How crazy is that and where has the time gone? Honestly, I've been very content and still enjoy being with my child. The fact is though; he is growing up and will eventually not want to be so attached to Mom. (if I'm raising him right) That's what brings me here. I've decided to do a little more for me. I am not a fan of trying to get a date this way, because reality is I am being judged by a photo and what I write. I am much better at this in person, but I couldn't figure out how to get you all in one room. I am very comfortable and confident in myself and what I have to offer. It's actually a lot, but that's up to you to find out. I am the girl next door, shy at first, but once you get the wall down, look out! I am cautious but I don't have "what ifs" in my life. No regrets in my choices and have a blessed life. I am not looking to rush into anything. I plan on, although it's not up to me, to be around for a very long time. OK, I may be 47, just turned recently, but I am never, ever guessed at that age. I only act adult like at work, just ask my son. I stay active by running, tennis and hiking. Running is my favorite because the peacefulness of the road and I like the outdoors. I am very competitive in almost everything I start.
I love my job and am celebrating my 20th anniversary with the same company this year(2011). I hope to remain in my industry until it no longer gives me that joy anymore.
Family is very important to me as are my close friends. They know they can count on me at any time.
I'm pretty independent and self sufficient, obviously. I have a big heart though and am looking for someone as a companion, to get to know, talk, watch big people movies, see what happens. I am down to earth and more small group vs large crowd personality. I enjoy more of a quaint environment. I'm not one to do the club scene, although I am or at least was quite a dancer.
My favorite vacation spot is the ocean, clear blue, white sand.
I'm the one people wonder why someone hasn't snatched me up and not let go. I tell them because I wasn't ready and the right one hadn't come along. I'm ready to see if my prince is looking for me.
