Distance is not an issue with me as I travel to Wahington and Oregon area frequently for my sanity....I lived in Southern Oregon for many years before moving to Alaska and I really miss it! I have winters off with my job so I try to spend a few months in Oregon and Washington and try to hit as many ski slopes as possible.... Then a few weeks in the summer to hit the beautiful Rogue River for some white water rafting is one of my favorite pastimes!
