I love nature and especially being out in my boat. If the weather is cooperating you will find me out fishing. It's my living and my life. I think Kachemak Bay is incredibly beautiful and the critters that inhabit the sea and the surrounding area are an endless source of amazement to me.
I'm rather fanatical about fishing and I would love to meet someone that loves it as much as I do, but it isn't a total prerequisite. I'm a realist and I realize that most sane people have other interests that might supplant fishing. I don't claim to understand someone not wanting to fish every waking hour of their life, but to each their own!
I love to laugh and prefer to dwell on the more positive aspects of life rather than the negative. If you don't like to laugh and enjoy life I have a feeling you and I wouldn't get along.
I am not "religious" in the strict sense of the word, but I do have a "spiritual" side. I have no qualms with someone being "religious" as long as they are willing to let me believe my own views without trying to "convert" me.
Other than fishing, the biggest love of my life is my dog, Penny. She goes everywhere I go (even on my boat) and she and I have some very interesting conversations. She doesn't talk a whole lot, but she sure loves doing the same things that I love doing. If you don't like dogs you wouldn't like me (or Penny).
Penny and I own and live in a cabin with a beautiful view of The Spit and Kachemak Bay on just under 10 acres of undeveloped land not far from town. I'd love to start doing some gardening on my land if I can ever find the time between "jobs" (fishing charters) and I'd love to find someone that would like to garden as well.
