Meet single man from Alaska, United States. Lived in Alaska most of my life. Worked all over the state, up and down the west coast, mining, construction, equipment operation, hazmat, you name it. Lots of years underground, but I'm no trogolodyte.
I have lots of lady friends, however I have no other half. Ultimately I am looking for long-term, meanwhile I"m up for almost anything.
My partner should be easy-going and adventurous. Relationships are about sparking and maintaining each other's interests. I have a lot to offer and hopefully you do too.
Pretty new to laptop technology era, definitely new to dating circle.
Hatcher Pass is my backyard, and I love it. Come on up and I'll show you around.

Date someone special from Alaska, United States. I am a simple, conservative guy and enjoy traveling, especially to warm sunny beaches, and I enjoy my job. Family is important to me and my daughters and grandaughters bring me happiness.
I would like to find someone who enjoys their family and mine and likes to travel, fish boat, camp.

Meet someone special from Alaska, United States. UPDATE: I decided to leave a base profile that I might change a bit from time to time but to add "Updates", so check back for the great (and ordinary) adventures of Blues Eyes In Alaska.
I have been a licensed foster parent for over a year, signed up for emergency placements. I recently had my first placement. She was only with me about ten days but she managed to wiggle her way into my heart. I hope to hear from her and I hope life treats her well.
I also adopted a second dog. I had heard that getting a younger dog can put some life back into an older dog and that seems to be working. Cheyanne has a bit more spring in her step and is enjoying the companionship. Lilly is sweet but she has a habit of running away. I have already bailed her out of the shelter once. Do you have any helpful hints to keep her from running?
I recently took an archery lesson and want to follow up on that.
Are you going to the Matsu Miners Raffle event later this month? I have been going for years. I hosted two ball players last season and probably will again this summer. It would be nice to have someone to go to the events and games with me.
I still work to much...
Base Profile:
I have been in Alaska for almost nine years now and love it here. I would like to find someone who feels the same way about this beautiful state and who would inspire me/motivate me/teach me to enjoy all it has to offer. Life is rich... and richer shared.
I've been off and on match before and met some great people. For one reason or another, we haven't been each other's mutual long term match. So I am still looking, still hopeful.
A bit about me... I have a job that I love and yes, it takes up too much of my time right now but I am making efforts to get it all to a manageable level. I do step away from it on weekends. So if you are a busy person too, I am one who will understand that! Maybe we can help each other find that elusive work life-personal life balance.
I was born and raised in Maryland, lived in England for three years, Rapid City South Dakota for 16 years and then set out for my grand adventure to Alaska. I love Palmer, the small town atmosphere and the glorious mountain setting. I can see the mountains out my windows. I have always said, "If I can live where I can see the mountains, I'll be happy." And I am. Even a "bad day" in Alaska is a good one. You just have to look around to know that.
What type of person am I looking for? I want to be open-minded about this. Having an "ideal" in mind doesn't seem to work. No one is perfect. As my Mom always said, "It's finding the person with the faults you can live with." Whatever we are both looking for, we'll know it when we see it and then start to build from there. I do want to say that I take pride in my appearance and I would want my partner to take pride in his also. I understand "Alaska Casual" and "Alaska Dress-up" but if a woman has to push her way through a tangle of coarse hair to get to your lips for a kiss, we won't be a good match. Facial hair is fine, I just prefer it groomed. And, at the risk of sounding stuck-up, I would like a partner who has reasonable command of the English language, written and spoken. Would you challenge me to a game of Scrabble?
By the way, I don't respond to "winks" or to profiles without photos. And if you lie about your age or only have very old photos, then that isn't a very good start. I've heard that men run into that a lot with the women's profiles. We do too.

Date people from Alaska, United States. Well, my "match" didn't work out and I'm back on match. Except that somehow I activated a really old profile so if you find me here and are interested, look me up under blueeyesinak. I'm a paid subscriber there. And I updated photos and the profile. So if you emailed me here, I can't access the emails. Darn. I asked match to consolidate the account or let me have temporary access but no one is getting back to me. So much for "24 hour response"!
Maybe you'll find I'm worth the search...
