I love to lead worship at church . . . hike (or snowshoe) our area trails or beaches with my dog in all kinds of weather looking at every little thing . . . sit and watch the wildlife from my windows or the beach or on the mountain . . . sit with one of my cats in my lap as I read, watch a movie or work on my computer . . . like to visit family . . . like to watch baseball, football, the weather channel and a few other programs, but I really donРІР‚в„ўt watch much tv.
I once had a boss who called me weird, because my watch runs backwards. I thanked her and told her it was the best compliment IРІР‚в„ўve ever had!
My favorite musicians are Arlo Guthrie and Jimmy Buffet, but I also like music from the 50РІР‚в„ўs on up if itРІР‚в„ўs rock or bluegrass. Classical is good. Jazz doesnРІР‚в„ўt make sense to my musical (?) mind. IРІР‚в„ўm a homebody, but I also like to travel especially to new places.
I donРІР‚в„ўt like flying, but itРІР‚в„ўs the only way to get there from here. IРІР‚в„ўm not real fond of the water either, but, it, too, is the only way to get there from here. and, yes, I know travel usually means something other than a car . . . especially from here . . . and I can deal with that. I also know flying is (supposedly) safer than driving.
What am I looking for? Companionship. Someone to spend time with and do things we enjoy together. Love. Someone to hold and to hold me . . . someone to work and play and travel with . . .
So much of a relationship has to be done in the here and now, and itРІР‚в„ўs hard to think and describe what needs to be present for both parties, especially since I donРІР‚в„ўt know you. You will need to be financially secure. I can take care of myself quite well....and I am not wanting to be someone's nurse with a purse(as a friend of mine once called it)! Been there, done that...don't want to be there again!
