I could start with "It is not easy writing about myself" but most of us feel that way and that line has been used more often the not on here. Oh wait, I just used it too. Oh well, skip that first line. About me. I am an easy going guy. I would like to think I have a good sense of humor, atleast that is what I hear from those who catch some of it. I don't get bent out of shape over the little stuff. I like everyone else have had the trials and tribulations that life sometimes seems to leave on our door steps like a burning bag of, well you know. I just hose it off into the yard and watch the grass get greener. Baggage fees are way to much so I don't like to carry any. Honesty is paramount. Doing the right thing even when no one is looking is my motto. I am not into the big extravagant lifestyle. I go for the simplier things. I like mountains, beaches, open country, big cities, a back road to nowhere, and an old town tavern or eatery. I like historic places, old buildings and a history lesson. I am originally from southern California. When I retired from the Army I wanted to see what the north had to offer. Been up here for almost 8 years now. Most of that time has been spent working and golfing on the side. Getting pretty decent at it and recently started entering tournaments. If you like to golf or want to learn, don't be shy. I manage the mainenance and facilities for a wild life refuge in Elk Grove so I do know what tools are and how to use most of them. I am a fix it don't toss it kind of guy.
