Date a soulmate from United States. So, how do I tell you about who I am? I suppose I should start with some of the most important things. My sister is eight years younger than me, and she completely has my heart. My favorite place, other than with my family and friends, has to be in the kitchen. There is a calmness I find there, and I'm just really comfortable. It's one of the few places where I feel like I actually know what I'm doing. Laughter is the best thing. I love to laugh. Most people in my life would probably say I have a good sense of humor and am quite funny. However, saying that about myself seems...odd. I am terribly sarcastic. I am stubborn and strong willed, but I am a nurturer. I take care of those I love and defend them with everything I have. I own way too many books, and I have a love for vintage Pyrex dishes and Twinings English Breakfast tea.
I'm not one to frequent bars or any other places like them where you might meet someone. That's just not who I am. I suppose that's why I'm here. I work full time and seem to be constantly on the go. I spend time with the people I love and have an amazing life. But as my sweet sister pointed out, I don't exactly put myself out there to meet someone. I'm not sure if this place is for me, but I suppose there's no other way than to try.
As for what I'm looking for, I honestly couldn't give you a text book definition. Conversation. Companionship. Someone who makes me laugh. A kind person who values family and friendships. Maybe just the recognition of a kindred spirit and someone who's looking for the same things out of life that I am.
