Date a woman from United States. I am a down to earth girl. I am pretty laid back ad I stay in alot and watch alot of tv. i would love to get out more with someone who is fun and likes to laugh. it would also be amazing if he were kind, understanding, and thoughtful! Men who are close to their family are also attractive to me. Hmmm are you out there I wonder?
Meet someone special from United States. I'm not quite as goofy as Lucy in "I love Lucy", but, close. I love to laugh and enjoy the fun side of life! I am well balanced, independent and am not looking for a man to "take care of me". I appreciate a man with a good sense of humor! I want a man who enjoys himself and puts others at ease. I live by the motto, "Don't sweat the small stuff" because I've learned that life is for us to enjoy! I consider myself neat but not obsessive. I am passionate with the right person and can openly show affection in public, (when the time is right!). I am looking for someone who doesn't need a woman to make him happy but would like to have someone special in his life. He needs to be just as comfortable in a pair of jeans and t-shirt as he is in a suit and tie. He is romantic but not squishy, intelligent but not cocky, enjoys the nice things in life, but doesn't really need them. He'll equally enjoy playing pool or heading out to the theater. He likes camping and the simple things but longs for a stay in a nice hotel. He likes to eat in a greasy spoon as much as he enjoys a 4 star restaurant.
I know how to be serious when the time is right....but, doesn't smiling and laughing make you feel better?? It does, me!
I love snow skiing in the winter and being at the beach in the spring, summer and fall! I have done most of my skiing in Switzerland. Skiing a black run is so exhausting and refreshing!! When you are staring down a major mountain my skiing partners love to say, "It's a leap of faith"!! Isn't that what life is?! One major "leap of faith!"
I also have to go to the beach at least a couple of times a year! Listening to Jimmy Buffett (there's a man that knows how to enjoy himself and have a blast with his friends!) and eating oysters on the half-shell is my idea of heaven on earth!! I love to have quiet mornings, sipping coffee and reading, but if I'm going to be realistic, this doesn't really happen in my world with three teenagers around!! Besides, too many quiet mornings and too much sitting in the house, makes for a dull Lucy!!
I am an optimistic person and I try to be around people with the same attitude. I don't want to be around someone who finds the negative things in life to always talk about! Life is too short and I intend to find positive things about people in my world. Hopefully you have this attitude, too! Didn't Ricky always find the humor in Lucy's antics and didn't he always know that she loved him with all of her heart??
I love all kinds of music! I have a wide variety I enjoy listening to - Dave Matthews, John Mayer, Jack Johnson, Allison Krauss, John Prine (yes, old and extremely country!), John Legend, Pink, Beonce, Gwen Steffani, Jimmy Buffett, Dave Mason (remember him??), Loggins and Messina (more old school music!) are just a few. I'll have to admit that I am a "parrothead" at heart!! FINS UP!! Hearing J.B. always makes me smile and suddenly feel like a kid again! Wow! I love the beach!
I don't like to play games with people's emotions so please don't play with mine! If you are someone I call friend, this comes from my heart and I expect the same from anyone that calls me a friend. Enough of the soapbox - just don't want to get hurt. Like I said, life is way too short and should be lived to the fullest! Now if you've managed to read through this blather and aren't on your way to the hospital to stitch up the gash in your forehead from being overcome with boredom, passing out and hitting your head on the keyboard, you should be writing to me. I want to hear what excites you about life....what are you looking for in the retirement years?
