Meet a soulmate from Concord, United States. outgoing and spontaneous. I want a partner that is game for anything. A person who is comfortable in their own skin. Someone who makes me laugh and is positive and energetic! A person who is passionate about people, places and things.
Date someone special from Concord, United States. I’m intelligent, laid-back, and have a positive outlook on life. Let me throw out a quote which will hopefully shed a little light on who I am, rather than having me spew out a list of adjectives, “You've gotta dance like there's nobody watching, love like you'll never be hurt, sing like there's nobody listening, and live like it's heaven on earth.” – William W. Purkey. I also value honesty, integrity, and morality, and I can only hope there are a few women out there that feel the same.
I love music, and I am a fan of most genres. A few of the bands/artists at the top of the list are Counting Crows, OAR, Toad, and Pearl Jam. Spontaneously travelling across the country for a Counting Crows show is never out of the question. Random day-trips are often on the agenda, and I also enjoy hiking, rafting, camping, and basically all other outdoor activities. I race buggies and trucks off-road, ride my bike (motorcycle), work on cars, shoot guns and other manly stuff, but I also enjoy some of the finer things like opera/theatre (Phantom, Lion King, and Les Miserables are on top), sailing, and wine tasting.
And now, what I’m looking for.
I would like to find a woman who’ll become my best friend. Maybe I can find that one person who will come to know my deepest, darkest secrets and idiosyncrasies, and will share hers with me.

Date single man from United States. If you didn't see the "Tom and Jerry" cartoon that featured that jazz tune, the headline may seem a bit pushy with the existentialism. That same tune was covered by Diana Krall in a flattened out, syncopated rendition that makes you appreciate the musicality of cats in zootsuits. The username, by the way, has very little to do with teen vampire lit. Nor was it originally intended as some reference to my age. But, hey, I just turned 40 so if the shoe fits...
So, after all the checked boxes, what's left to say? Hmmm...a lot, probably. I grew up in Seattle and attended a Bay Area university. Seattle, back when it was a bit less frou-frou. Not to knock what Gates, Frazier, and espresso brought to the city. A lot of me was shaped in the Pacific Northwest. The Bay Area is where I've settled and I've discovered some great spots in it, but I guess it's important enough for me to mention here that the smell of the earth after a good, long rain reminds me of home.
New year, new pic. Not many photo ops this past year, so it's the government-specs self-portrait for now. For the other exciting pics of me, imagine some permutation of a kayak, a mountain bike, and me a-huggin' grey-haired ladies. Strange how I've become this photo chauvinist after posting just that one pic. Why am I now creeped out by photoless profiles winking at me? I was that guy just last month. By the way, I will pull photos when I plan to be away from the site for a while or when I bump into a profile of a former client.
I read a lot of profiles that mention Myers-Briggs. How accurate is that test? I'm pretty sure my imaginary crack team of psychologists have some very flattering things to say about me, but they're sticklers for imaginary doctor-patient confidentiality. My personality: sometimes, I feel like a beagle among the Jack Russells and the basset hounds in the Bay Area.
My match...not even the rain has such small hands. I stole that from e.e. cummings. Sorry, e.e. Here we go: someone who has never lost her love of learning or her sense of wonder for this world. Someone who honors the child she once was who knew compassion when she discovered that animals have feelings, too. Someone who shares the joys of learning and discovery with others. Someone who loves Fox cartoons (Peter Griffin meeting Optimus Prime at temple...brilliant.) but hates Fox News ("News"). Someone who can appreciate quiet morning tea as much as spirited conversation at a pub. Someone who reserves time in her life to create things. Generosity and kindness are must-haves. Someone who can find some amusement in my observation that the movie "Conan the Barbarian" is a remarkable achievement if only for pairing the two best voices in cinema, Max von Sydow's and James Earl Jones' and then putting them next to Arnold's.
I'm sure there are a few other things I could add, but I think a lot of the important ones are here. So, if you hold such things as honesty, kindness, and conversations over cups of green tea in higher regard than our baseball card statistics, do say hello. And some of the baseball card statistics are in my profile if you were just a little bit curious.
Thanks for reading. You're a nice lady. Oh, by the way, I may pony up for the subscription again. In the meantime, a wink will be better than a message as I won't be able to read any of your emails.
Meet someone special from United States. A close friend would describe me as kind, generous, honest, reliable, creative, independant, and funny. an accomplishment I am proud of would be still self employed since 1998. the recession was brutal and I made it through ok. I hope I dont live through another. Ihope to attract one who lives life to the fullest because life is short and thers no time to waste complaining about stupid stuff. I want someone I can always count on to never let me down.
Date a soulmate from United States. If you get the chance to know me, you will find i'm a pretty good guy, a solid friend, and a great dad. I'm genuine & sincere in what I say and do. I believe commitment, trust and honesty are very important in any type of relationship. It is very important to me, and who I'm with.
For me a relationship starts with a friendship, mutual respect and trust. With those, you eliminate doubt, jealousy, the issues a good relationship doesnt need. I have nothing to hide and nothing to lie about, I stand behind everything I say or do, and I take responsability for it right or wrong. To me its about being an adult and if you have to hide things or lie to me about it, you probably shouldnt be doing it. I beleive that when you are committed to someone, love is just as much a decision as it is a feeling you have. Communication is so important, and I think you can work through alomost anything if you can express yourself and talk to eachother.
I have a 6yr old daughter who I live for, her happiness is very important to me, so its important you like kids, I love them.
Im not conceited, or shallow, but I am confident and I consider myself a pretty good looking guy and take care of my body. So I am initally attracted the same type and appearance is important to me, im just being honest.
I think attraction is different when you know and love somebody your committed to and it all really boils down to the chemistry you share. I dont think you can find that out online through text or email.
I am looking for a women who means what she says and says what she means. A women who knows, is confident, and happy with who she is. A women I can be confident in as well.
I think its important to always keep the spark alive, keep it sexy. I am a very affectionate person, I like to hold hands, love to kiss, and I'll keep you laughing always, I'm funny like that! I'm all about you, I want you to feel special to me, I like to do flowers and surprises, things that make me special to you. Dont get me wrong, I like to treated the same way in return, but its not a requirement. lol....
Ive worked really hard to get where I am in life and will work just as hard to stay where I am. But Ive found that you have to take time to enjoy it all, as well, because it all happens so fast, and theres no going back. My work will never be more imortant then my relationship or my family.
I really do enjoy just about everything I do and anywhere I go. I keep an open mind and am willing when it comes to trying anything new. I think a lot of life is, how you look at things and the attitude you choose to have about it.
Theres only so much you can write about yourself and what you want. I think its important to have the attraction, chemistry and feeling you get when you meet someone you like. Then spend sometime getting to know and trust in the person they really are.
I'm new to this on-line dating thing, so I might be a little old school. But Im hoping to find someone who has some of the same values and interest as I do, so I'm trying out match.com. I was totally faithfull throughout my marriage for the last 15yrs, so this is all new to me. Dating in general feels pretty new to me after all these years, but exciting at the same time. Hopefully I will meet the women of my dreams,my best friend. I know shes out there, and I am pretty confident that I deserve her, So come and get me! lol... kidding, kind of!

Date single man from Concord, United States. I'm not sure if anyone makes it past the photos around here, but in case you're the type that enjoys words and with your pictures, I'll do my best to give you the 30 second elevator pitch.
I'm looking for someone who can be my best friend and partner. Someone that can hand me a righteous schooling in Scrabble and also make me laugh when they snarf milk out of their nose. Someone who's sexy by virtue of being themselves and doesn't take life, or themselves, too seriously.
From me you will get a pretty smart guy who will be there for you wherever and whenever. A guy that will open that stubborn jar of pickles and compliment you on those new slingback shoes. Someone not ashamed to snarf themselves, nor afraid to sing horribly off key on Karaoke night, or break out with the sprinkler, or the running man, on the dance floor all in the name of a good time.
So if you’ve already looked at all the pictures and you’re still reading to this point, why don’t you send me a message, or a wink, or a smoke signal if that’s your thing, and we can see where the road leads.
