Meet someone special from Concord, United States. About Me: I was born in the Midwest. I lived in the city, but spent my summers on the farm. It used to drive my father nuts - mowing the lawn was always a chore, but I could spend 12 hour days out in the fields with the crops and the animals...
In my early teens, we moved to Arizona, and I fell in love with the desert... played football at ASU... and spent 6 years in the Air Force, most of it in Asia - Viet Nam Thailand, Japan, Taiwan and the Phillipines... and briefly in the middle east and north Africa.
After service, I moved to California and started a business. The business grew and was eventually bought by a larger company. I found my way into business consulting and spent the next 20 years enjoying my 2 great passions, travelling and problem solving.
I have a curious mind and I really like finding out what makes things tick, and how to make them better...
In the early 90's, an associate approached me with an idea, and a new business was born. I became the publisher of a daily newsletter for mortgage brokers, in the days before the Internet, complete with computers and satellite feeds (boys and their toys)... Eventually the Internet caught up to us, but my interest in finance and real estate continues...
I don't travel as much as I used to, but the internet allows me to reach people all over the globe.
I do enjoy my home, and I now have time for plants and pets... and cooking (another activity that I really enjoy)... and power tools!!!
My favorite tv programs are mostly on HGTV, I am a big fan of home improvement activities, and I am seriously thinking about buying a ranch sometime in the next few years, back to the crops and the animals...
