I'm a southern gentleman and believe a lady should have doors opened for her, a man should rise when a lady walks into the room, walk hand in hand and show other signs of affection in public and demonstrate to the rest of the world how lucky he is that this woman has chosen him and how proud he is. I like to sit next to my lady in a booth in a restaurant so I can sit close to her, hold her hand, put my arm around her and hold her close, and have an intimate little conversation that makes both of us giggle and laugh and makes everyone else around wonder what we are up to. I want a lady that will treat me like a king and i likewise will treat her like a queen in return. Oh, by the way, I give a pretty awesome massage if you ladies are interested.
I love God, family and country and I will not allow anyone to come between me and my family again like my ex has tried for years. I also believe my new found relationship (if I am fortunate enough to find someone) should love their family as I do mine. I believe the Bible is the inspired word of God and I accept it as it is written and I do not rip pages from my Bible to make it fit what I want.
I don't need nor do drama and I do not like to argue. It's all about love and respect.
I like almost all flavors of music (except rap). I just ran across a Garth box set that I haven't listened to in a while and loaded it up in my CD player. Kinda in the mood for the "Friends in Low Places" song . I like CSI, NCIS, documentary stories/science programs, Food Network, HGTV, Outdoors Channels, and yes I do read. Last read was "Love and Respect."
My favorite ice cream is vanilla. I do cook; wanna help (wink wink). You'll have to keep an eye on me working in close quarters like that though, LOL! I love having pool parties and grilling for everyone.
I hope to retire in a couple of years and would love to do some traveling. May buy a camper and hit the road for a while. There is a lot of the U.S. that I have not seen. I would love to go back to Alaska. Wanna take a cruise? I have some hobbies I would like to expand upon also, but we can talk about them later.
I will crack a joke from time to time, most of them spontaneous when i see something funny, however, I have finally learned NOT to crack a joke if I am a passenger in a car; I've almost lost my life three times like that. I find many things in life funny and I don't mind sharing my inner chuckle with my partner. So, if you like to laugh at life, I'm your man.
I'm not into the bar thing, so if you are we most likely will not be terribly compatible.
I am most comfortable in a pair of Wranglers and a starched white shirt, but I will dress "UP" if necessary. I don't own a tux but I would get one if necessary.
