My friends would describe me as hardworking, dedicated, honest and patient. I can be kind of shy at first but once I get to know someone I open up. I'm usually the comic relief of the group. Sometimes its on purpose and other times...well things just happen to me. I'm always up for something new or different. I enjoy traveling and experiencing different cultures. I enjoy almost anything outdoors. I ride bikes a few times a week, fish when I have time and almost always have a camera of some kind nearby to record the action. I have a garden and enjoy keeping up with my flowerbeds. I also enjoy the occasional project. I'm currently building my own smoker. I hope to have it up and running in the near future. I also enoy more refined indoor entertainment like a museum, art exhibit or a musical on occasion. I keep up with college football but beyond that I’m not going to spend hours and hours glued to a TV. I have friends over frequently and enjoy cooking and entertaining at home. I always have a big get together at my house on the fourth of July and a weekend or two during the fall to watch a football game.
I play guitar(I'm no pro but I'm getting better everyday). I usually play at home after work to unwind and I try to play with friends or at a bluegrass jam a time or two a month. My taste in music is broad. I enjoy bluegrass music(traditional and modern), some classical music, Jimmy Buffett, Bob Marley, Eric Clapton, Jack Johnson, Otis Redding and Robert Earl Keen to name a few.
I get to travel a good bit with work. I've been fortunate enough to work all over the US and several countries over the past few years. I know my hard work now will pay off down the road. I usually get a little time to explore the areas I'm working. It's always nice to experience different places. I work hard but I always make time to kick back and relax. I enjoy my job, but I don't let it run my life.
