I work in the construction field, both continuing to build my own company as well as working for a carpentry company. I am college educated, so I can hold a conversation (politics, religion, current affairs/events, etc., you name it) for more than 10 minutes without have to talk bout myself, but I can also pretty much build a house from the ground up. I can cook great, and love doing it. I’ve got a dry, sarcastic sense of humor that can sometimes go over peoples head. I moved to CO from the east coast about 5 years ago and never left. Spent most of my time in CO living in Summit County until my job was relocated to Denver. Definitely miss the mountains and like to get up there as much as I can, but have come to really enjoy living in the Denver area.
I’d say that since the majority of my time is spent sitting at a desk at work or at the library studying, I like to be outdoors and active when at all possible. I do a lot of running, hiking, summer camping with giant campfires, and play on some rec league teams. Winter activities include a lot of snowboarding whenever time permits, though I certainly don’t get as many days on the mountain as when I was living up there. Definitely a sports fan and love some college basketball.
Socially, I really enjoy grabbing dinner and drinks with friends and then seeing what happens. I think my days of closing bars are behind me, but it does still happen from time to time. Traveling is high on my list of enjoyable activities, especially to places I’ve never been before. It seems harder to find travel companions these days, as most of my friends are busy with work and significant others. I’ve been to some amazing places in the US and around the world. I’ve had some really good weekend road trips and hope to have many more – CO is a pretty sweet place.
I’m at the point in life where I’d like to be with someone, but that person needs to be someone who I truly enjoy spending time with. The bar scene for meeting ladies is in my past, so here I am, seeing what happens. Intelligence and a pretty smile go a long way for me.

Meet a soulmate from United States. Well, there's a lot I guess I could say, but I'd rather actually talk to people than have them read about me. I'm 31 and just finished nursing school. I spent 5 years living in Winter Park and I love to be outside. I like to climb, bike, ski, raft, backpack - you know, what every person in Colorado says they like to do :) I also like to read, watch movies, and hang out with friends at the coffee shop. I try to balance out the things in my life, although school has kept me from playing as much as I'd like to this last year. I'm laughing most of the time I'm awake, and as long as that's the case, I have fun doing just about anything.
I love to meet new people, hear and tell stories, and I usually make friends wherever I go. I can usually handle whatever situation I find myself in, whether in the mountains or in a social setting. People are some of the most important things in my life, especially my family and my friends. I know what I'm doing with my life and I'm happy with it, but it'd be nice to have someone to share it with.
I'd like to find someone who is laid back, and has a good time wherever they are and whatever they're doing. Like I said I love to laugh, but my job and experience has taught me to be serious when it's time to be ... that being said, I'm usually pretty sarcastic, and it certainly helps if you are too, I definitely need someone who can laugh with me. My ideal partner in a relationship loves to do a lot of the things I do, but also has her own things going on.

Meet men and women from United States. The good thing about me is that I cannot be described in one, or perhaps a few sentences. Might sometimes be a less than awesome thing, too. I'm originally from a southern state you've probably never visited. I carry no real accent as evidence, but still appreciate my roots and have an affinity for all the good qualities (gentlemanliness for example) of my old stomping grounds. That being said, I haven't lived there since high school, so maybe that's so much hot air. I manage a couple different bars. Lots of people seem to be over the bar scene, hence my online existence. While I pattern myself after those I admire and am influenced by, I feel like I'm a true original. I mean I'm sure there are plenty of towering, half geek/half jocks out there, but I don't see them. I'm very easy-going and regular-type-of-guy. I also like sarcasm, and I invite you to share in my idiosyncratic behavior. I play a lot of scrabble/words with friends and really only get hypercompetitive in board games of the like. I hope you like sports, too. I am consumed by watching it and debating it. I even played a little college ball many moons ago. However, I'll enjoy a good Arrested Development rerun more so than a boring game. I enjoy spicy, often weird food, so the restaurants off Federal are often my favorites. I usually wear a beard and hat, so it doesn't exactly set me apart from the rest of the Denver dudes. Writing is a creative outlet for myself, and I think of myself to be an above average raconteur. I've done some cool stuff in my life, and used to work in the media, so I'll have a lot to discuss, but my garrulity (thank you Scrabble) is very give and take. I maintain a pretty positive demeanor, but can be glass half-empty on a lot of things. Podcasts have ruined me for music, so all of the bands you have listed on your profile that you love, I'll have to enjoy you turning me on to them. On that note, I'm not looking for anyone in particular, even though the MY DATE section might have some specifics. Be yourself, be fun, don't be a bummer, and who knows.

You already know my story: just another mid-western twenty-something that moved to Denver a few years ago without knowing anyone or anything out here and now never plans to leave. But in the meantime of being busy at work and being lazy at socializing, I will have to find that there is more to Colorado life that I can be doing and hopefully with the right person along for the journey. I don't easily fit into categories (especially in filling out these profiles), but people always seem to be fascinated with me. I tend to get a quick reputation as reserved serious and they can never quite figure me out, but I don't really take myself too cereal. You would be wrong to mistake my calm, soft-spoken nature for boring, though, because I am liable to say anything to get the laughs, even if it is only amusing to me. I'm sure that I am an ordinary guy in most ways, and an extraordinary one in ways you will just have to find out about.
Since there is probably no market for tall, intelligent, witty gentlemen in 'Menver', I can only hope the internet can help expose me to a wider range of ladies to find something in common with for some new adventures. With that, I will leave the "who I'm looking for" pretty broad, but would certainly hope to meet women that are smart, fun yet mature, and of course, full of feminine wonder. I honestly don't know what "internet dating" is, but consider this more an internet *meeting* avenue and so I am not opposed to being introduced to any new friendly people.
