I am a working professional who is looking for an addition to his life, his soulmate if you will, although I think that statement is overused. I am fit as I workout every day, but still could lose a few pounds (hey I am over 50!). Several things I seek in a partner...
At my age...I am a student of the human condition and I have enough trial by error to last the rest of my lifetime. No, you can never be perfect. All you can do is hopefully be compatible on "a lot" of things and have the inclination and desire to compromise in a loving way on the others. I have my down sides. I can be too emotional at times and can be a bit excessive at times (I work out almost EVERY day). But I am a happy, kind hearted person and am looking for a woman not to complete me...but to compliment me.
Secondly I seek someone very down to earth. I am a pretty relaxed, laid back, low maintenance individual...and I am looking for the same. I grew up in a small town in PA and I am looking for someone with values comparable to mine. I am still very good friends with my ex-wife & mother of my kids and I value her friendship immensely. Third you should be active. I don't mean you have to be 10% body fat...but you must care about your physical appearance. I have been physically active all my life and still am...I am looking for a partner who is the same. I was a runner for over 30 years...but finally had to quit because of Achilles tendonitis and back problems...but none of those things stop me...I get treatment and find alternative ways of being physical. It is just an adaptation to getting older. But I am healthy and staying healthy is important to me as I look forward to enjoying my later years...but I do love hanging out on the sofa with a special someone.
