Date men and women from United States / Colorado / Denver, 41 year old

Date single man from Colorado, United States. Okay, I'm sure I will get some heat for being direct on here but here's the deal. There's nothing like being in a long-term relationship with a woman with whom there is a mutual connection on many levels. I love that and that's what I ultimately seek.
However, it's certainly possible to meet someone with whom there are shared interests and at least superficial chemistry even if it's not infinitely clear you're on a 'tenure track' program with each other.
Perhaps you're a gun-toting Highlands Ranch Right Wing Republican and can't imagine sharing a household with me, a dyed in the wool Left Wing Liberal transplanted New Yorker, but we can enjoy a lively discussion about the merits of each perspective. Isn't it possible to have a respectful, positive relationship between two such evolved people, for example, so that when Mr. and Mrs. Right come along for each of us, we don't break their backs from human affection starvation?!
How dare I suggest intermingling the search for love with the search for 'like.' Indelicate, maybe, but pragmatic at the very least. Perhaps we'll agree and be the loves of each others lives...

Date a man from Colorado, United States. I'm a fun single guy who's looking for someone to share the great times life has to offer. I have a lot of close friends and love doing things with them like skiing, biking, traveling, and going out to restaurants and to see live music. I also love to cook. Lately I have been making some amazing Thai recipes. I am planning to go to Thailand in the fall for scuba diving and climbing.
You should contact me if you're an active and social person, love spending time in the mountains and want to have some fun times. Life is short, so if you're interested send me a note!

Meet a soulmate from Colorado, United States. I have been here before and my experiences were more interesting than positive but I like to focus on the positive. It seemed that most women were more interested in getting a free diner than actually wanting to get to know someone - unless the man was something unrealistic. Do not get me wrong, I met some amazing ladies but it just did not seem that too many people were that serious about moving forward.
So this time around I will be very direct and up front. Two emails upfront at the most and then a phone conversation. First meetings will be coffee or lunch and no booze. No reason to waste anyone's time and hopefully we get to know each other well. I am sure you will not be disappointed!
So with that said, I have a passion for travel and there is a good chance that I will go off on travel stories. I will dig for info on your travels. Love travel stories. My last trip was to Southeast Asia (Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos) and last year I spent 22 days rafting the Grand Canyon and now I need to travel some more. It is pretty important to me that I find a travel partner that is active and up for anything. An open mind is very important.
It is important that we have similar interests but we do not need to do everything together or like doing the same things. I get in about 25-30 days snowboarding a season and love my dirt bike and road bike.
I am serious about moving on to the next phase of my life and all I ask is that you are too! Oh and fun is a priority.

Date someone special from Colorado, United States. Need help to find the true meaning of life and haapiness. I am greatfull that I have 2 healthy and athletic boys that I have been blessed to coach them in footbal and sending one off to go to the Naval Acadamy. It was tough to find that some one you thought you were in love with no decides that she does not want to be maried and tied down. That she wants to be free. Sparks can happen without a certain type, so meeting says a lot more than a blog. Once that's happened, it's easier to start figuring out how to spend any time ahead. If you like any of the following, we're off to a good start. I am recently separated just sent my oldest son to the Naval Academy. My Ex-Wife said she needs to have here freedom and was tired of being tied down so the only option was to let everything go. As you can see my kids also are my biggest achievement. I am so proud of my oldest he now is becoming a NAVY Seal. My youngest is 100% football all the way. I love to coach him. Since I was a High School Football Coach. I am new to this. I am afraid and nervous at the same time.

Meet people from Colorado, United States. Imagine driving around town with someone who is on speaking terms with the local ghosts, sees buildings and ice rinks and arches that aren't there anymore, and knows many of the people whose names grace the street signs. I live with my head in the clouds sometimes, but the view up here is beautiful and I'd love to share it over coffee, or fish and chips with malt vinegar. I'm looking for someone to explore the universe with while living life day by day and taking joy in its little wonders.
While watching a movie, we share popcorn with Tabasco sauce. After, we consider if Sidonie Gabrielle Colette ever met Oscar Wilde, and if they would have hit it off. Over coffee, we consider where chocolate and chilies and coffee came from, the virtues of the job title, "barista," or my struggle to decide if your eyes or your outfit are more outstanding. Another time, we see a college production of some obscure Greek tragedy, followed by takeout.
I lived with a flower shop owner in New Zealand once. Ever since, I've loved flowers, a pure indiscriminate love uninformed by any real ability to identify them or make them grow. Sometimes I drive through random Denver neighborhoods in late spring and early summer to see the flowers, admire their gargoyles and consider their tragically bad xeriscaping aesthetics.
I'm a package deal. I have two brilliant, popular middle schoolers. Teens and tweens can be sulky, but allowances must be made. Dads may embarrass them. Dad's girlfriends may not. I take their opinions seriously, just as I would take yours.
I prefer tweed brown jackets and salmon shirts to pinstripes and rep ties, although sometimes circumstances demand otherwise. I'm considering growing a beard again, but would ask for your opinion first.
In you, I value kindness, a willingness to explore new things not knowing how they will come out, and a tendency to look on the bright side. I am looking for someone who can be supportive and inspiring; who can hear me out and ask questions, but not someone with all the answers. Cute is also good.
Let's be honest, I've never been single in my entire adult life. I have no idea who is "my type." But, I come well trained. Once you've won me, my loyalty is intense. "Yes dear, whatever you say," when appropriate, is ingrained. I once had to explain to a never married boss that yes, he really did have to get flowers for his girlfriend on Valentine's Day; well trained guys like me know better.
Not that I don't have quirks. I hate mornings and alarm clocks. I detest voice mail. I work late nights and a few hours most weekends. The bit about the law being a jealous mistress is no joke. I toss the sports pages in the recycling bin each morning without opening them, unless my son is drawn in by one of the headlines.
I'd rather light a candle than curse the darkness, you know, an "if life hands you lemons, shoot lemon juice in your enemies eyes" kind of guy.
Do you want to light a new flame? Or, barring that, to spend time with someone who is more fun than watching sports on TV, choking on smoke in a dive bar, washing your hair, or sweating on a treadmill? Of course, finding someone you like is mostly gut instinct. Gut instincts, like muscles, improve with practice. So, let's give it a whirl!

Date single man from Denver, United States. A little about myself: I’m a 43 year old Colorado native and love meeting new people (and becoming a richer person for it), the outdoors, music, trying new things, and spending time with friends and family. I’ve been told I’m good hearted, funny, easy going and a good listener. My 7 soon-to-be 8 year old daughter is big part of my life and we love going on bike rides, playing in the park, swimming, and running through the sprinklers.
I grew up in a large family with 7 siblings on a small farm in north east Colorado. I went to college here in Denver and got a degree in computer science, although I’m not your typical geek.
Who I’m looking for: Someone like-minded and easy to get along with, maybe even with a daughter that my daughter could be friends with! Someone who likes to be active most of the time, but also who likes an occasional movie or take-it-easy night. It also would be nice if we were in the same area.
It hard to put to words every part of my personality and a description of myself, but this is my first attempt. If you are interested in learning more, let me know…

Meet people from Denver, United States. I'm going to make this short. My ideal match, I don't know and guess I'm looking for the right (good) person. She could be many things. Everybody is different, so I won't know until we meet. The only thing I really know is that she has to be my best friend. As for me, well lets see. I work to much, I sometimes travel to much. I don't know anybody hear yet. So until I start meeting people and getting out, I'm stuck with working. I know boring, thats life in the first 30 days in a new town.
