I am an Alumni of Semester at Sea which was a study abroad program i went on last fall and absolutely loved it. It is a semester program where 600 college students travel entirely around the world visiting 12 countries and taking classes on the ship while at sea. Our ports of call were Nova Scotia Canada, Cadiz Spain, Casablanca Morroco, Takoradi Ghana, Cape Town South Africa, Mauritous, Chennai India, Singapore, Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam, Hong Kong, Shenghai, Kobe and Yokahama Japan, Hawaii and then finished in San Diego California. The trip has completely changed my view of the world forever and feel that I have a much better understanding of how the world is truly a Globalized Economy. I met some amazing people both on the ship and many locals in each country visited. It was amazing to learn first hand from the locals about their culture, religion and way of life. If you have home on SAS, are interested in traveling the world for college credit, or know a friend who has gone let me know. It would be fun to talk about it.
