A bit about me:
I am an easy going bloke. It is very rare that I am ever angered or irritated, especially over something minor. Generally, I stay the side of caution and respectfulness with others.

I grew up in Northern California and moved to Little Rock, AR after I got out of the Marine Corps.
I abhore liars, decievers, and cheaters.
I have been told I am a bit old fashioned, in a sense that I firmly believe each person in a relationship (friends or more) have a role to fill in keeping the balance of that relationship for it to work. Honesty, communication, and trust are essential!!
I am new to the Little Rock dating scene and have yet to explore much of what Arkansas has to offer. Although, I am not much of a club or bar type of person, I have been known to visit from time to time when the mood strikes me.
In the future, I intend to check out a vast many hiking and bike trails through out Arkansas, as well as surrounding states. I would enjoy having a good friend to create some of those "Remember when...." moments with and build a stronger relationship.

I've been in Little Rock for two-and-a-half years...I lived in Lexington, Ky. for about six years and moved to LR for my job. So, not only am I a Buckeye fan, I'm a UK fan, too (neither of those things bode well in Arkansas). I'm a huge sports fan in general - college football and basketball are my favorites. I also have the strange ability to remember movie lines and quote them at will. You'd be surprised how often this talent comes in handy (like when trying to chose a headline for your profile)!

If you can make me laugh, you're half-way home. I consider myself pretty stable without a lot of drama and I love it that way. I like to think of myself as being a "non-typical" southern woman but having said that, you still won't see any gratuitous cleavage shots or other pics I consider "tacky". I love being near the water whether it's a lake, ocean, stream, creek, heck even a pond on a pretty summer day is a nice place to be near. I don't have to be on the go all the time but I like typical stuff like movies, theater, concerts, etc. but I also like to cook dinner, drink some wine and curl up on the couch (or hot tub, you know, if the mood strikes lol) I really like kids but not sure if I want to have babies at this point in my life. Intelligence for me is also a major turn on and I like someone who I can talk to about all kinds of stuff from religion, current events, how can the Kardashians still be on TV, etc. I guess I'm kind of looking for an everyman kind of guy. You know the type: someone who just kind of fits just about anywhere...deer camp, reperatory theater, etc. But rather than list a bajillion things I want in a guy or go on and on about me, why not just email me and ask. I have a great job and I get to travel to some wonderful places. Sometimes it's hard to work when you're staring at the beach from an office window but I shouldn't complain about that too much...ha, ha.
I'm very independent and have been successful so far in my career. I'm now ready to not focus on work so much and find that special person. Integrity, respect, kindness, etc. are all very important to me. How you treat people is a big deal to me. By the way, typing on an IPad is really slowing me down!
