If nothing else I’ll be happy to accompany you, read a good book, enjoy the silence and the company as you enjoy wetting a line. If I'm wrong, I can admit it; I won’t like it, but I can admit it. I tend to be a live let live sort of person. I try to eat & be healthy, most of the time, anyway.
Quirks: I HAVE to have the noise of a fan to sleep. I like hot, spicy food. I’m a tad new-agey. Self-improvement has become a recurrent aspect of my adult life. I loathe shopping—for anything (exception: rooting around in flea markets antique stores). For some reason shows, movies, books involving paranormal or sci-fi aspects enthrall me (Ghost Hunters, Being Human, Highlander, Underworld, books by Koontz, Patricia Briggs, Charlaine Harris…like that.)

An open-minded man with a good sense of humor, intelligence, honesty, loyalty, warmth, & a fondness for physical affection is a man that I want to get to know! Acceptance, patience, passion, kind heartedness, respectfulness & understanding are other essential qualities. I absolutely DO NOT like racism or prejudice! Not a big fan of controlling people either, who think their way is the only “right” way & that anyone with a differing opinion is wrong. I'm an animal lover (not to the point where I have 10 cats, 5 dogs, a ferret and a gerbil) so it would be important to me that anyone who ends up wanting to spend time with me be of like mind. I want someone who’ll encourage me to step out of my box; try new things, explore new places, and continue to work to get myself in shape! NOT someone who wants to change me! I’m looking for a slow growing relationship that begins with a wonderful, close friendship. When I love, I love deeply, passionately & with loyal commitment. I’ve learned that I want a man who’s emotional available and able to share that side of himself with me. Someone who’s not a workaholic, and makes those who are important to him a priority, being sure they know that they know they are at the top of his list. You will rarely have to wonder what I'm thinking because I will usually tell you...good or bad. My daughters are very busy in competitive sports/piano/taekwondo etc. so my schedule gets a little crazy sometimes. They are the light of my life and always come first. I don't really go out much but when I do, I love hiking or biking the local trails and going to the lake. I also like just about any live sports especially baseball and hockey.
