I'm currently in Arkansas, and have decided to stay. I had been planning to move to Oregon to be nearer my brother, but he's decided to move to Arkansas. I've lived in the UK, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Oregon. I'm ready to take off my traveling shoes and settle down. I like road trips, museums, and visiting interesting out-of-the-way places such as ghost towns. I don't especially like crowds. I love the ocean and the moutains, eating at little out of the way diners when I travel.
I lived in the UK for a few years, but have no desire to live abroad again. I have a bachelor's degree, and will eventually complete my master's degree. I have a Southern accent that I try very hard to keep hidden. I prefer eating in rather than out, and I think I'm a decent cook. I like Indian food, good ole' southern foods, Cajun, and Italian. I watch very little televison. I really don't like any reality shows, or any of the newer sitcoms and would much rather watch reruns of M*A*S*H*, WKRP, or any of the older programs. I also prefer classic rock music, and never listen to contemporary country; however, I do really enjoy classic country on occasion.
I don't wear spandex, sweat pants or my pajamas in public. I'm probably not exciting enough for many, and I suppose I might be a little too old fashioned for some. I'd like to own a home in a more rural setting where I can have a little garden and maybe a few chickens.
I wouldn't be a good fit for someone who frequents bars, smokes, or uses drugs. I'm a mellow person, and don't like being around drama. I prefer clean, quiet, living and am looking for a partner who shares the same temperament, is genuinely kind, and is looking for the same kind of life.
