Date a soulmate from Arizona, United States. Hey there! I'm a 27 yr. old working professional currently living in Scottsdale, AZ. I've lived in the valley for 4 years now, moved here after graduating from U of A (Go Cats!!) in Tucson, which is where I grew up (yes, I am an AZ native, I know we are rare out here). I’m currently at a crazy transitional stage in life right now, but in a good way. I’ve done the whole “partying” scene to near exhaustion (emphasis-near), matured A LOT from some of my adolescent ways (or as I like to call them – learning experiences), and have progressed in my career to the point where I’m financially stable. In short, things are looking up, I’m happy and confident in who I am and what I have to offer, and am ready to see what’s out there....
So here I am on match.com.... not the way I imagined I would meet someone, but what do I have to lose? I just don’t find the whole bar/club scene as ideal to meet someone the older I get. I’m not trying to strike up a conversation with “Teach me how to Dougie” blaring in the background, just not my style. I am looking to meet a cute, honest, and genuine woman that takes care of herself and has a good head on her shoulders. I also consider myself a very open minded and tolerant person, and like to associate with people with the same characteristics. Other than that I’m not going to sit here and list all of the "must have" qualities I look for in the opposite sex, when there is something there it's a mutual thing. I just want to meet someone with a positive mindset that I share common interests with, that knows how to have fun,takes care of themself and doesn't take life too seriously.

Aside from backpacking South America and grad school in Australia, I've been in Arizona since and plan on sticking around as I love the weather and have most friends/fam here.
I have fun doing anything - cooking, running, hiking, going to markets/festivals, swimming, "playing" the guitar (need some work), day/weekend trips, etc.. Meet someone special from Scottsdale, United States. You may have heard that chivalry is dead but I disagree. Constantly overwhelmed with romantic tendencies, I have been raised to be a gentleman and taught how a woman is supposed to be treated. I am a laid back kind of guy who knows how to enjoy the small things in life. Whether being outdoors, trying new hobbies or spending time with friends and family, it is the little things in life that matter.
My ultimate day would entail a morning of rock climbing as the sun came up and an afternoon on the water in a kayak. A good adventure is always welcome and something I would love to share. I have always been drawn to the outdoors and out there you have to be a bit handy. But in this hot Arizona heat it is hard to be outside as much as I want. So when it becomes unbearable I retreat to the comfort of an air-conditioned movie theater or to a comfy chair with a good book. My latest hobby is playing the guitar, which is still a work in progress so please don’t judge me on my singing.

I like movies a lot and I'm mostly drawn into comedies and romantic flicks, although I also do enjoy watching suspense thrillers and drama from time to time. I love adventure, trying out new things, going out of my comfort zone, and basically just having fun. I'm more of a city dweller type of guy but I love nature and beach escapes once in a while to de-stress myself and have a quiet time to think about my plans, my future, and my dreams. I'm not really a morning person as I tend to stay up late and enjoy the night more than I do during the day. However, I still try to do my morning runs at least once a week and hit the gym 3-4 times a week to keep myself fit.
I'm not really the average guy. I don't drink, smoke, or do drugs. Never tried them, never will. I love sports but I'd rather play them myself than watch them live or on tv. I'm not really much into video games although I also play some of them once in a while. I dress pretty well. I wear pink, and purple, and orange, and just about any color there is. I enjoy shopping and I can last a whole day in a shopping mall. I have lots of shoes. I use a facial wash and scrub. I wear perfumes. I decorate my apartment. I watch musicals. I eat yogurt. And yes, I also cry in movies sometimes. =)
Although I'm not really too particular with what I'm looking for in a person. I think it's really great to share the same interests as I have listed above and maybe more. I also do believe that sometimes it is the differences that brings people closer together so I'm open to all the possibilities. =)
