I am a 43 yr old self employed musician. I make my money mainly by teaching (classical guitar). It's tough, I have to work 6 days a week, therefore I don't really go out very often, that and my closest friend passed away from cancer 2 years ago. So when I do go out its by myself, which makes it tough and odd to have fun. Sounds like a bad country song, don't it!
Because of this I dedicate myself to teaching. Nothing brings a bigger smile to my face than helping students achieve goals they didn't think possible. I get a great feeling of accomplishment from teaching, even more so than when I used to fix complex, high percission machines as a service engineer or when I was repairing, servicing computers in the navy. I just wished I made the same money teaching. The price I have to pay to be me and happy.
